Laserdance - Moon Dusk

05:27
Laserdance is a Dutch studio project of two producers: Michiel van der Kuy and Erik van Vliet. In 1983 Laserdance published their first single, simply called "Laserdance". It was a very successful all over Europe. In 1987 Galaxis (a sub-label of ZYX Germany) published the first Laserdance album, entitled "Future Generation". The album was a big success selling approximately 150 000 copies and generated a lot of interest in synthdance music at those times. Between 1987 and 1995, practically every year, a new CD from Laserdance was being published. Unfortunately, later albums were a little boring, because of repeating the same tunes and melodies again and again. Some of them, however, were very good and Laserdance had many fans up to 1995. In 1995, Erik van Vliet decided to follow the techno trend and included some techno tracks on "Guardian of Forever" album. Although the rest of the CD was filled with synthdance music, the reaction from fans was very cold. This led to stopping the activity of Laserdance for next five years. With the 80's revival and Italo comeback, Erik van Vliet decided to resurrect Laserdance project. While Michiel was busy as a producer of Alice Deejay and his own project Rygar, Erik searched for a new composer. In 2000, Laserdance returned with new album, called "Strikes Back". It was released by ZYX Music Germany and categorized as "trance". The CD, however, contains only pure synthdance music composed by newcomer, Julius Wijnmaalen. His songs are good, but not up to the level of former Laserdance tracks. He also uses quite different synthesizers, so the album simply sounds different. We have to wait and see if there will be any new Laserdance albums in the future, because since 2000, nothing new hasn't been published under this project name. "Moon Dusk" is from their 1991 album "Ambiente". http://www.spacesynth.net/Artist/Laserdance

Keller & Wienekamp - Forgotten Places

05:21
On 2nd July 2011 Gerd Wienekamp and Detlef Keller ( musicians ) and Rob Hartemink( video creator ) met at the 'Schwingungen' barbecue party in Hamm ( Germany ). So far Rob used existing music to create videos with the music. The three of them came up with an idea. Rob creates a video, Keller and Wienekamp will compose the music to that video. In the beginning of August the video was created. At Saturday 13 August 2011 Keller watched the video and played music consisting of Cubase tracks. It was the basic structure of the song 'forgotten places'. At August 14 the Cubase tracks were sent by mail to Wienekamp. Wienekamp imported the tracks and played them with his ( electronic ) instruments. After many phone calls in which Keller & Wienekamp discussed the song, the musicians came together in the studio of Wienekamp in Oldenburg, Germany, to fine-tune the song. 'Forgotten places' is the first song they created together. It is also the beginning of a cooperation which will definitely lead to a cd of Keller & Wienekamp! Gerd Wienekamp forms together with Frank Specht "Rainbow Serpent". They were / are influenced by Klaus Schulze, Jean-Michel Jarre, Tangerine Dream, Software, Steve Roach, Lisa Gerrard, Peter Gabriel and Filmmusic. they released many cds so far. http://www.rainbow-serpent.de http://www.youtube.com/user/derlaborant1 http://www.myspace.com/derlaborant German music composer Detlef Keller produces his by Klaus Schulze, Tangerine Dream and Vangelis inspired music in his near Duisburg located studio since the early 80´s. Logic System - Unit

04:54
http://www.last.fm/music/Logic+System It was in 1970 that Hideki Matsutake was grabbed by the playback of Walter Carlos's Switched-On Bach using a synthesizer and a computer at the American Pavilion of Expo '70 in Osaka. In June the following year at his age of 19, he makes his first step into professional music as an apprentice to Isao Tomita, providing him the chance of operating one of the few Moog III-P sythesizer units existing in Japan. Establishing a company of his own named Musical Advertising Corporation (MAC) in 1974, his involvements with new music artists such as Yoshitaka Minami and Akiko Yano started. In 1978 he participated in the production of Ryuichi Sakamoto's first album, Thousand Knives. In the following years between 1978 to 1982, Matsutake served Yellow Magic Orchestra as its sound programmer, eventually to become known as "the fourth member" of the band. He also led sequencing work for numerous Technopop albums by other artists, especially at the beginning of the 80s. In 1981, Matsutake formed "Logic System" with Makoto Irie, with whom he toured to perform in other Asian countries several times. The unit has released 10 albums to date, 2 out of them released in 8 countries. Its latest album is Tansu Matrix, released in 2008. Matsutake is currently Chairman of Japan Synthesizer Programmers Association (JSPA). http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hideki_Matsutake

Faber - Ten Thousand Lightyears

06:46
http://www.mellowjet.de http://www.youtube.com/user/Musikus581 Faber is a music project from Northern Germany. The man behind Faber is the musician Ronald Schmidt. After a few years of accordion and Hammond organ lessons at the beginning of the 1970s his great passion for electronic music began when he first heard Wendy Carlos and Tomita in 1972. In the year 1973 the first synthesizer, a Roland SH 1000, was acquired. The first recordings with an old tube tape recorder with multi playback procedure were made. Today the recording studio -- with exception of a Kurzweil K2000 and a Korg MicroX - is software based and the music is realized with a PC and many software synths. The musical influences for Faber are Tangerine Dream, Mike Oldfield, Klaus Schulze and Wendy Carlos. Vanderson - New Hopes

07:31
Maciej Wierzchowski aka Vanderson is an electronic music producer from Poland. He was born in 1978. In the early nineties he started mixing music as a DJ and composing electro-pop tracks. Between 1998 and 2002 he plays at parties, techno-clubs, TV shows and composes some electronic tracks ( unofficial release of albums 'Earth 2001 and 'Atonal Waves') In 2006 Maciej joins the Polish project 'contemporary Electronic Soundscapes' and does some live shows in Poland. Since then Maciej mainly concentrates on his big passion: sequencer music of the seventies-eighties. The time of Tangerine Dream, Klaus Schulze and many others. "New Hopes" is from his brilliant album 'Another Day in future' ( 2013 ) http://www.facebook.com/maciej.wierzchowski.vanderson http://www.youtube.com/user/grooveproject http://www.vanderson.pl/ http://www.soundclick.com/members/default.cfm?member=vandersons+groove+project MellowJet-Records präsentiert mit "Another Day in Future" das 2013er Album des polnischen Ausnahmemusikers "Vanderson".

Wellenfeld - Ring of Saturn

07:51
Wellenfeld are German musicians Andreas Brand and Detlef Dominiczak. They play beautiful ambient electronic music. Ring of Saturn is from their stunning cd: "Trip to Illusion". "Wellenfeld is a German duet who creates EM since 2003. As indicated on their website, Detef Dominiczak and Andreas Braun have no intentions to reinvent the wheel, but bring their poetic and melodious touch to EM universe. Trip to Illusion is their 3rd opus. If Cosmic Waves had astonished a new public with vigorous and harmonious compositions, the 2nd opus, Fusion, left these new fans perplexed with a quieter atmosphere. Trip to Illusion depicts the maturity acquired by the duet since. A harmonious album, with superb arrangements and surprises on each title, giving a specific identity to all of them, always respecting the melodious approach which had allured the fans on Cosmic Waves. A little like a symphonic progressive rock, Ring of Saturn opens on pompous and majestic synths. The rhythm is woven tight on one melodious synth, with a symphonic touch, where beautiful percussions crack, supporting a fluid tempo which increases in intensity on beautiful enveloping orchestral arrangements layers. Borderline to a Jarre sequencing line, the movement evolves on a beautiful synthetic refrain which sticks instantaneously to the ear. Ring of Saturn depicts extremely well Wellenfeld sonority. A very harmonious music with synths which multiplies the melodious lines, with orchestral arrangements sometimes enveloping, other times tearing, in order to create the maximum of emotion. And that works pretty well, because without really exploiting progressive topics with various musical directions or steps, Wellenfeld offers a pleasant synthetic music with light rhythms and convincing harmony" http://www.wellenfeld.de http://www.mellowjet.de http://www.youtube.com/user/dywid http://www.myspace.com/wellenfeld

Amethyste - Sensitivity

05:21
".. .. .. In this world where we cannot breathe, where feelings are ignored, where we are oppressed by this chaotic life crushing individuality, I found myself with the help of my voice. I secretly hope to touch listeners by bringing them to the very heart of their soul, where dreams and fragility live free .. .. .." Amethyste was born in Montreal Canada and is now living in the USA with her husband Gunnar Spardel who is also a music composer. They both met in 2005 and have been together ever since. They have combined their talent to bring really beautiful and ethereal music over 6 years. Amethyste is finishing up her 4th CD titled "Deliverance" and is due for release in May 2011. It can be quite a difficult task trying to classify her music into a specific genre. I would say that Amethyste's style of vocals are of an Ethereal, Seductive and Dreamy nature. Her influence is a blend of classical, pop and ambient. Artists like Vangelis, Mylene Farmer, Sarah Brightman have played an important role in the development of her own style. Just close your eyes, and let yourself be transported to a serene world where you can dream and escape even if only for a brief moment... Australis - paqta kutemunga

04:34
Australis is the name for the Electronic New Age musical project by multifaceted Peruvian-born composer/producer Oscar Aguayo, although this name is often used to refer to him directly. He named his project "Australis" (which in Latin literally means "from the South") because that word symbolizes his origins and the places where he received his primary musical influences. Under the wider New Age genre, his music styles include Ambient music, World music, Electronic music, Ethnic music, Symphonic music and Soundtrack. Among other adjectives, his musical signature has been described as melodic, intense, contagious, emotional and meaningful. Australis' style is characterized by very rich instrumentation present even in his most simplistic pieces; very melodic and clearly defined leads built over solid tonal bases (consisting of deep evolving pads or full orchestral arrangements); and engaging rhythms, often ethnically influenced. http://www.australiscanticum.com/

Fanger & Schönwälder - Sentimental Moods

10:00
If you're into analogue sequencing, If you are fond of Klaus Schulze and/ or Tangerine Dream you will definitely like "Sentimental Moods" by Thomas Fanger ( Mind-flux ) and Mario Schönwälder ( Keller, Schönwälder, Broekhuis ) This is sequencing as it should be according to me. "Sentimental moods" is from their cd: Analogue overdose 1. http://www.manikin.de http://www.starflux.de Thomas Fanger was born in 1962 in Berlin. Inspired by bands like Tangerine Dream and Kraftwerk he realises his first musical ideas with self-built soundsources in 1978. In this time also his first band starts with Michael Kersten, from which Mind-Flux (also known as Fanger & Kersten) emerges that later released music on the electronic cultlabel IC/Digit. In the middle of the nineties Fanger is also active in the technoscene and together with Jan Siebert releases numerous CDs and LPs, amongst others under the names Amorph, Bugfix, Soundkönige and Synoptic Music Plant. They created a legendary CD on Pete Namlooks FAX-label. His first solorecord "Parlez-vous Électronique?" comes out in 2005 on the Manikin label of Mario Schönwälder. In 2008 his second album on Manikin is expected. Until this moment he has been involved in more than 50 productions (CD, DVD and LP) and he has given many concerts. Thomas owns his own Video-productionfirm and is also active as Ambient Visual Artist. Mario Schönwälder is also born in Berlin, in 1960. In 1984 he creates his first electronic experiments with a KORG MS 20 synthesizer. As a true self-taught person, he learns the technical groundrules of keyboardplaying by himself. As of 1988 he has a contract with Bernd Kistenmachers Label Musique Intemporelle. After the second CD he stops with this label and starts his own label Manikin Records on which until now about 100 productions are released from, amongst others, renowned artists like Ashra, Klaus Schulze, Spyra, Rainbow Serpent, Broekhuis, Keller & Schönwälder, Keller & Schönwälder, and many others. He has performed many concerts as a solo-artist, with the duo Keller & Schönwälder, with the trio Broekhuis, Keller & Schönwälder and of course together with Thomas Fanger.

Peter Seiler - Children´s Eyes

05:45
German music composer Peter Seiler has been making music all his life. When he was five years old his parents sent him to a piano teacher for lessons. Fascinated by what he learned, he taught himself more about harmony theories and arranging by reading all he could from the masters such as Berlioz and Strauss. Recognizing the sign of the times early, he bought one of the first Moog synthesizers available in Germany in 1971. It was not long before he produced an avantgarde LP titled "Keyboards & Friends". Seiler formed progressive rock band Tritonus a year later, recording two albums and playing hundreds of live gigs. Tritonus split in 1979, and Seiler continued touring as a free session musician. Back in the studio he wrote jingles for radio stations and two major National TV networks. A string of nationwide radio and TV commercials were successful due to his catchy melodies. Peter Seiler's music has been released on nine solo albums so far, selling more than 100.000 copies worldwide. Countless compilations have featured Peter Seiler tracks. His concerts (e.g. UK-Electronica, England) have caused rave reviews (Q-Magazine, England: " The German synthesizer wizard"). He has become a top seller in the "New Instrumental Music" genre. Children's eyes is from his cd "Open Borders" ( 1991 ) a timeless piece of new age music. http://www.peterseiler.de http://www.triple-music.de

Jamuroo - In the Gardens of Echnaton

06:20
Jamuroo( 1962 ) is Gottfried Bonn from Bergheim, Germany. In 1996 he became very interested in electronic music, with the emphasis on instrumental relaxation new age music. Since 2002 he composed many CDs. In 2006 his music was published on several internet portals by Morgenrot publishers in Germany. In 2007 he made a CD titled Mystic Asia. This cd was published at Weltbildverlag. That CD became so famous that it is sold out. More info on Gottfried can be found on his website( he is a very versatile person ). He can also be found on You Tube. In the Gardens of Echnaton is from Jamuroos cd space visitors. http://www.youtube.com/user/Jamuroo http://www.jamuroochilloutdreams.de/ Akhenaten ,often also spelled Echnaton, Akhnaton, or rarely Ikhnaton; meaning Effective spirit of Aten) was known before the fifth year of his reign as Amenhotep IV (sometimes given its Greek form, Amenophis IV, and meaning Amun is Satisfied). A Pharaoh of the Eighteenth dynasty of Egypt, he ruled for 17 years and died in 1336 BC or 1334 BC. He is especially noted for abandoning traditional Egyptian polytheism and introducing worship centered on the Aten which is sometimes described as monotheistic, but henotheism would be a more accurate description, since he ranked the Aten above other gods but did not deny their existence. Indeed, an early inscription likens them to stars as compared with the sun, and later official language avoids calling the Aten a god, as if to create for the solar deity a status above mere gods. Akhenaten tried to bring about a departure from traditional religion that in the end would not be accepted. After his death, traditional religious practice was gradually restored, and when some dozen years later rulers without clear rights of succession from the Eighteenth Dynasty founded a new dynasty, they discredited Akhenaten and his immediate successors, referring to Akhenaten himself as 'the enemy' in archival records. He was all but lost from history until the discovery, in the nineteenth century, of Amarna, the site of Akhetaten, the city he built for the Aten. Early excavations at Amarna by Flinders Petrie sparked interest in the enigmatic pharaoh which increased with the discovery in the Valley of the Kings, at Luxor, of the tomb of King Tutankhamun, who may have been his son. Akhenaten remains an interesting figure, as does his Queen, Nefertiti. Their modern interest comes partly from his connection with Tutankhamun, partly from the unique style and high quality of the pictorial arts he patronized, and partly from ongoing interest in—and, all too often, less than verifiable claims about—the religion he attempted to establish.

Pyramid Peak - Distance

07:40
The story of Pyramid Peak begins in the year 1988. At that time Axel Stupplich and Andreas Morsch - both from Leverkusen/Germany - met through a common friend. Axel Stupplich, born 1967, had his first contacts with electronic music when he was 13. He was impressed by the music of J.M.Jarre, Tangerine Dream, Kitaro and Gandalf. Andreas Morsch, born in 1966, was fascinated by electronic music too but besides J.M.Jarre and Tangerine Dream he was impressed especially by the music of Klaus Schulze. With a small equipment they started - first everyone for his own - to make their own music and since 1988 they founded the band "Digital Dream". Their first releases were the tapes Space and The Second followed by the tape Digital Mind in 1989. 1990 the two tapes Fractals and Sternenmusik were released and Axel and Andreas started their first steps to make this music a little bit popular. The last tape of them was called Explorer and it was recorded in 1991. After this last tape Andreas stopped to make music because of healthy reasons. in 1995 Axel met Uwe Denzer and he gave fresh impetus into the music. As a first act they changed the pseudonym into Pyramid Peak because even Andreas and Axel were not very happy about the old name for a certain time. One year later in 1996 Axel and Uwe started to work on their first CD which should contain new songs but also some older materials from the former released tape Explorer. But it lasts two more years until the cd atmosphere was released in 1998 in a small edition. The final reason for the release was the return of Andreas into the band in the summer of 1998. So far they released 5 cds. Distance is from their cd "random events". http://www.pyramid-peak.de/

Constance Demby - Kyrie

10:01
"Music is a realm of consciousness the listener enters by traveling on a beam of sound. The more authentically the composer is connected to Source when they open up to receive the music, the purer the tones, and the more potent the effect upon the listener. Essentially, one goes as far and as deep as the composer went when receiving the music." - Constance Demby Constance Demby is a classically trained artist performing since the age of 12. The mid-eighties brought changes in recording technology with the advent of digitally sampled sounds; Demby embraced this electronic revolution to compose contemporary classical space music using a full range of symphonic instruments, pipe organ, and choral voices. Tapping into her spiritual guidance, she brought through Novus Magnificat -Through the Stargate, the album that many call the most important New Age recording of all time. This album, released in 1986, was one of the first releases on the Hearts of Space record label, and the one that received the most honors and comparisons to Classical Composers. Since that time, Demby's primary instrument has become the symphony orchestra. The Kurzweil digital samplers, with their advanced technology and ability to portray all the colors of the orchestra, have become her keyboards of choice. Kyrie is from her 2001 album: Sanctum Sanctuorum, sublime, symphonic sacred music with gregorian chant and ambient atmospheres. http://www.constancedemby.com/

In the year 1973 the first synthesizer, a Roland SH 1000, was acquired. The first recordings with an old tube tape recorder with multi playback procedure were made. After graduating as an engineer of physical technology Faber has increased his recording studio since the early eighties. Faber, however, is in many musical styles at home: They range from spacemusic, lounge and chillout to world music. Fly with me II is from Faber's brilliant album 'Dreamchild'. Synth.nl - Atlantico

06:58
Rhythmic / sequencer music from Dutch synthesist Michel van Osenbruggen. Michel became interested in synthesizers during the late 1980's / early 1990's. It was at that time that he started collecting electronic instruments. After a while a body of work was accumulated and by 2005 Michel was ready to release and promote his material. Early influences included Jean Michel Jarre and Vangelis. "Atlantico" is from his stunning cd Oceanography http://www.synth.nl/ http://www.youtube.com/Synthnl When an artist succeeds to sculpture his music so that we can visualize its storyand / or message, we can easily assert that its purpose is reached. OceanoGraphy of Michel Van Osenbruggen (Synth NL) aims right to the target by offering a beautiful and tender poetic music with amazing rhythmic structures, sometimes heavy, slightly complex, but always melodious. A beautiful album which we taste eyes closed with soundscapes and sounding images which will certainly please the fans of Vangelis and Jarre, any areas include.

Constance Demby - Faces of the Christ part I

14:58
"faces of the Christ" is from her album with the same title. http://www.constancedemby.com/ http://www.youtube.com/user/ConstanceDemby

Takla Makan - Caenschten

09:32
Takla Makan is the artist name of Englishman Tony Allgood. Tony has been producing music for over 28 years. His main influences are Tangerine Dream, Mike Oldfield and Jean Michel Jarre. However, over the years inspiration has come from many sources including the late 80s rave scene, classical works and film soundtracks. This mix and match of musical genres has come together in a style that is distinctly Tony's and won him considerable acclaim from listeners and EM critics all over the world. He has produced six albums. For a long time Takla Makan had problems finding a home on a commercial label. Many have been approached but the difficulty in tying his music down to a particular genre has scared all too many of them. Even so, Tony has been selling CD-Rs direct to the public for many years. Nowadays his music is available through synthmusic direct and musiczeit.com Caenschten is from his album Landlines http://www.oakleysound.com/index.htm http://www.musiczeit.com/directory.ph... About Landlines:Tony Allgood, the man behind Takla Makan, is a man of many talents. He runs a thriving business restoring and manufacturing analogue synthesisers. In his spare time he can also create some stunning EM, making use of all the impressive gear at his disposal... The sensational follow-up to the highly acclaimed albumContour. Creative rhythms and rich melody combine with a sprinkling of Jarresque magic to produce a stunning album which no EM fan should be without.

Klangwelt - Long Distance

08:53
Klangwelt (sound-world or world of sound) is the musical project of Gerald Arend, a German audio-designer from Norderstedt (near Hamburg) who is working for the multimedia- and computer-games-industry. Born in 1966, he already made his first contact with electronic music in the late 70s with Jean-Michel Jarres famous Oxygene-album. More records with synthesizer-music followed, made by artists like Tangerine Dream, Michael Rother, Vangelis, Kitaro or Klaus Schulze. The more he listened to these fascinating sounds, the more he was convinced that this was the kind of music he would like to play himself. Gerald bought his first synthesizer back in 1982 and started to self-educate keyboard-playing. The first CD Weltweit was released in early 2002 and became a big success. It got great reviews from EM-magazines and WWW-sites from all over the world, tracks from the album were played in numerous radio-shows like the US-program Echoes. The end of 2003 saw the release of the second album The Age Of Numbers, an electronic journey into the fascinating world of numbers and mathematics. The second CD soon received lots of positive reviews and became a big success as well. In late summer 2006, the latest album XOIO was released. 'Long Distance"is from Gerald's brilliant album : The Age of Numbers http://www.klangwelt.info http://www.youtube.com/user/Ohrwerk

Rainbow Serpent & Isgaard- Elements 2

04:29
German musicians Gerd Wienekamp and Frank Specht are "Rainbow Serpent". They were / are influenced by Klaus Schulze, Jean-Michel Jarre, Tangerine Dream, Software, Steve Roach, Lisa Gerrard, Peter Gabriel and Filmmusic. they released many cds so far "elements 2" is a superb track. It is from their cd 'Stranger", a collaboration between Rainbow Serpent and female singer 'Isgaard". http://www.rainbow-serpent.de http://www.youtube.com/user/derlaborant1 http://www.facebook.com/pages/Rainbow-Serpent/114756998558018?v=info&ref=ts/ http://isgaard.com/de/ With the long awaited album "Stranger", the German duo Gerd Wienekamp and Frank Specht has delivered an outstanding album of contemporary and vibrant electronic music which I'm sure will be welcomed by a large audience. For the musicians, making "Stranger" also proved to be new and difficult, as they decided to add a human voice to their music. For the latter, the German, classically trained female singer Isgaard was invited to join in. She added her lovely vocals on eight of the tracks. It made these pieces more song-oriented while also adding another dimension and space to Rainbow Serpent's captivating music. Despite the long and complex way they all had to go, the outcome of "Stranger" breaths a beautiful cinematic and atmospheric sense, offering some catchy sequencer movements (e.g. "Gateway", "Memory Leaves") combined with varied rhythms and interlocking, attractive and warm sound pads. Sometimes, the music comes close to Jarre (as e.g. on "Beyond New Worlds" and "Memory Leaves"), but the musical expertise and signature of the Rainbow Serpent duo nicely rules all the way on this spacious, detailed sounding and very well produced 66-minute album. Fans of Schiller should check it out as well, and not only for the fine and smooth sounding title song. "Stranger" is highly recommended.

Chris Gate - Into the Vortex

https://soundcloud.com/chris-gate/tracks Chris Gate is a German Composer & Producer and works since 1996 with focus on Electronic Music. He is also part of the VORTEX ELEMENTS Project. HISTORY: First he started with the Collaboration-Project NOISE CONSTRUCTION in 1996 and got the chance to release two tracks in 1998 on Millennium-Storm Records (Hannover/Germany) and its first Techno-Trance Sampler. But unfortunately the distribution of the disc failed and the label decided to discontinue its work. To get some new experience, a partnership of NOISE CONSTRUCTION with CJ MILLER as an upcoming DJ was a nice chance to get a new focus on straight Club sounds. The work of Noise Construction was discontinued at the beginning of 1999 and CHRIS GATE began to focus on his Solo-Project. In 2003 he founded the collaboration project VORTEX ELEMENTS together with SONIC CHAIN, which can be discovered on Soundcloud. After some years his musical view changed from Club & Trance-Style to more classical Electronic Music. During the time, he did some REMIXES for SNAP and BLANK & JONES (Remix-contests) and some of his own tracks and for VORTEX ELEMENTS as well. Actually it´s the intention of CHRIS GATE to get some new contacts , to improve the musical artwork and getting in contact with people who like his tracks. Amethyste - Leaving in a touch of Silence

05:23
".. .. The song was composed by Gunnar Spardel. Chad Klink plays the piano in this beautiful piece. http://soundcloud.com/amethyste http://www.youtube.com/user/EtherealTristesse http://www.myspace.com/etherealsopranoamethyste

Ron Boots & Synth.nl - Soleil Levant

06:15
This is the first album Ron Boots and Michel van Osenbruggen( Synth.nl ) played together and it has a very nice story to it. They first met at a Synthesizer Meeting organized by the Dutch 'Synth Forum' in 2006. There they started talking about synthesizers and synthesizer music and found out that they shared the same fascinations. As a result Michel signed up as Synth.nl in 2007 with Groove Unlimited. They worked a lot in the studio together after that remixing and mastering. Since then they have become very good friends and visit each other on regular basis. Also their wives, kids and even the dogs like each other. In 2010 their wives decided to rent a house together in the Belgian Ardennes for a weekend. Ron and Michel both brought a synthesizer and a laptop and tried to make music together for the first time and that went very well actually. They recorded quite some tracks there. After the weekend they decided that the music should be released on CD. So they started on finishing the music together when they got back in their own studios. The result is the album called 'Refuge en Verre', which was the name of the house they rented. They got the inspiration for the music they played from the beautiful nature in the Belgian Ardennes and the nice time they had with their families over there. Most of the tracks were played live as improvisations in the temporary studio that they created in the rented house. "Refuge en Verre" was released by Groove Unlimited at the E-live festival in Oirschot (NL) on the 9th of October 2010. "Soleil Levant"( Sun rise ) is an excellent track from this brilliant album. Ron Boots is one of the most important electronic musicians from The Netherlands. Since his early musical explorations in the eighties, "Big Ron" developed a distinguished style that has its roots in the classical electronic music from the seventies, and early eighties but can clearly be regarded as Ron Boots-music. http://www.ronboots.com http://www.groove.nl Michel became interested in synthesizers during the late 1980's / early 1990's. Glorious analogue arpeggios and contemporary beats open 'Under the surface', and are soon joined by vast pads. The beats solidify, a distorted vocal sample intones in the background and simple melodies snake through the mix. This is a classy track. With his debut-album the German artist moonbooter surprised the EM-world. Teralogica is a journey to the fantastic world of analogue and digital music, spheres and sound-landscapes. Free System Projekt - Narrow Lane ( part I )

09:06
Free System Projekt are Marcel Engels and Ruud Heij from Holland. They use a mixture of analog and digital synthesizers They always try to make a kind of atmosphere, often heard in the e-music of the 70's and begin 80's. Bands/artists who also create this kind of atmosphere are, to name a few: Tangerine Dream, Neuronium, Schulze. But also bands like Pink Floyd, Camel, Pulsar, Ozric Tentacles, Orbital and Future Sound of London. Their music is brilliant. Think of Klaus Schulze, think of Tangerine Dream, think of typical Berlin School music. Thats free system project. Narrow Lane is from their cd with the same title. It is an excerpt of this brilliant piece of music. The whole piece takes more than 29(!!) minutes. http://www.freesystemprojekt.nl
