This project was created with the intention of exploring guerilla marketing. The concept was to parody the influence and social power of the Nike brand with its most fierce competitor: adidas. The main logo features the iconic adidas stripes with a stylized version of the famous Nike slogan. The associated art pieces include a 20ft tall logo featuring the words "Just Do It" (made from repeated smaller written text: the adidas slogan of "impossible is nothing") and various stenciled cardboard pop-outs placed across the University of Oregon campus.

One of the Vapor's stand-out features is still present on the Nike Vapor 7 football boots. The Tepex glass-fibre chassis, that has become a Vapor favourite, brings you close to the Vapor's enhanced traction elements. The Vapor Traction II design means the forefoot studs are shaped to offer multi-directional traction, with central arms for acceleration/deceleration and optimal sprint traction. The Vapor 7's sole-plate includes the same direct injected studs that incorporates 8 cored-out studs to provide a dramatic 12% weight reduction whilst enhancing strength and durability. Acceleration and sprinting is further enhanced by concentrated forefoot zonal spikes, inspired by tracks spikes to optimise grip at toe-off for an extra burst of speed, giving you an advantage over the opposition. Nike have lowered the price of the new Vapor 7 soccer shoes. Previously set at £180, Nike have slashed the price to £150 GBP / $240 USD / €170 EURO (£125 cheaper than the Mercurial Superfly III football boots!). Nike (NYSE:NKE) is expected to report Q1 earnings after the market close on Thursday, September 22 with a conference call scheduled for 5:00 pm ET. Analysts are looking for a profit of $1.21 on revenue of $5.75B. The consensus range is $1.13-$1.38 for EPS, and revenue of $5.64B-$5.9B, according to First Call. In June, Nike reiterated its primary financial objectives through FY15, including high single-digit revenue growth, mid-teens EPS growth and return on invested capital of 25%. Nike also expects its annual sales in China will reach about $4.2B in five years, up from $2.1B in FY10. Though rumors have swirled that Nike is considering a bid for Under Armour (NYSE:UA), the company says there is "no truth" to the speculation. Analysts at Sterne Agee expect Nike to report higher than expected EPS for Q1, and believes the company will benefit from strong growth in all regions and retain its competitive advantage using innovative new product launches. After conducting checks, Stifel Nicolaus believes that there has been strong demand for Nike footwear at U.S. retailers during the back-to-school season. The firm expects the company to report 9%-11% constant currency futures growth exiting Q1
