I love Nike. I love Nike advertising, Nike ads, Nike commercials, Nike marketing strategy, Nike branding, and Nike brand strategy. I love all of it, and I love it a lot. What's more, I'm not alone. Nike ads have built the Nike brand into a juggernaut that appeals to almost every single man, woman, and child on this planet. Nike Advertising Power Why does Nike branding work so well? Nike advertising is full of excitement and everything that makes a good sporting-goods ad, but Nike ads are nearly unique in how good they are. So what is the deal with Nike marketing strategy that makes them so great? It's the message that is contained in Nike commercials and every piece of Nike branding that goes out. Nike advertising revolves around a single, universal emotion that is felt the same by nearly everyone on the planet. The idea of struggle and determination is what gives Nike commercials their fire. And every piece of Nike branding revolves around this thing How Nike Ads Capitalize on Archetypes If it told you that Nike marketing strategy is thousands of years old, you probably wouldn't believe me. However, Nike branding, like their name (originating from the Greek Goddess of Victory Nike) is as old as the Greek Civilization. Great works like the Iliad and the Odyssey revolve around the archetype of the hero. The hero is someone who faces a great foe, one who is seemingly insurmountable, and through dedication and perseverance, prevails. Nike brand strategy truly does hail from the time of the ancient Greeks, and there's a reason it still works. This is because the feelings that Nike commercials evoke are feelings that all humans have. The heroes in Nike advertising are universal heroes, regardless of age, race, gender, or anything else. The Real Message of Nike Commercials Nike commercials show all sorts of ripped, young men and women pushing themselves to the limits against a foe, but what are Nike ads really portraying? They're portraying you and me. Nike brand strategy knows that everyone sees the hero in themselves. Nike branding understands that even though we aren't slaying dragons or rescuing princesses, just getting out of bed in the morning to go to the gym, to work, to school, or anything else, is as trial in and of itself, and Nike commercials are all over that. How Nike Brand Strategy Comes Out in Nike Commercials Nike branding relies on a five-step formula to really drive the Nike marketing strategy home in Nike commercials. Nike ads, with very few exceptions, follow this five step formula in one way or another. The five step formula in Nike advertising is how they show the various stages that the hero must go through in order to fulfil his quest. Nike branding simply channels the story of the hero, one that has been told for millennia, into Nike ads and watches the brand explode. The 5-Steps Nike Branding Uses in Nike Ads Nearly every piece of Nike advertising follows the 5-step formula of Nike branding. First, Nike ads show first to the challenge, in the zone, doubt and suffering, rededication, and finally, victory. Nike branding uses these five steps to universally appeal to men, women, and children all over the world, and to great effect. What Each Step in Nike Marketing Strategy Means Key to Nike ads are the five steps. Nike commercials tend to begin with someone being the first to the challenge, first to the plate, the first up. This is how Nike brand strategy demonstrates first to the challenge. Nike branding then shows the person in the zone, working hard at whatever it is they're doing, and then comes the doubt and suffering. It's at this point in Nike ads that we are unsure if the main character is going to make it through, but then Nike marketing strategy kicks back in with rededication. The character rededicates herself to the goal, and attains victory. So to recap: -Nike advertising is a powerhouse because it taps the deepest emotions we feel as a species -One of these emotions is that of the hero, an archetype that human beings all over the world can all feel -Nike commercials do this by using a 5-step formula that shows the hero overcoming great struggles. http://602communications.com/

(http://antoniorthompson.com/coaching) Facebook Ad Disapproved – IMAGES One of the biggest reasons to get a Facebook ad rejected is images. • 20% Text Rule: Facebook has a rule that if the image you are using in the Desktop Newsfeed contains more than 20% text (copy) you Facebook ad will be disapproved. • Images may not be overly sexual, imply nudity, show excessive amount of skin or cleavage, or focus unnecessarily on body parts. • Facebook will not allow images with non existent functionality.  This means if you put up an image with a play button on the image that does not actually play then Facebook will disapprove your ad. • Images may not use Facebook brand images without permission, including but not limited to logos, icons and alert notification graphics.  Also images that target users under 18 years of age need to be appropriate for that age. Facebook Ad Disapproved – Other Reasons • • Your Facebook Fan Page is not in compliance. If you are running a fan page to grow your business, you MUST ensure that you are playing by Facebook’s guidelines. • Using Trademarks: Using trademarks such as Facebook or any other brand that you don’t own can be cause for your Facebook ad disapproved. will see your Facebook Ad disapproved. Facebook just wont have it so be sure to brand yourself again refer back to Facebook promotion guidelines • Promoting MLM and get rich quick: Be careful with what language you are using when it comes to writing your copy. Facebook will not allow you to advertise get rich quick jargon on your ads. So watch your language. (no make money fast, mlm, network marketing, etc.) • Your landing page (the place you are directing people with your ad) is not in compliance with Facebook promotion guidelines. You are able to send people to your website, landing page or capture page, but if the website the viewer is landing on is not in compliance, Facebook will disapprove your ad. Check you landing page for mlm language and any exaggerated claims. • Additionally, you want to be sure to have a terms of use, contact link and privacy policy on the landing page you are sending people to. Facebook believes that every ad placed on the social media platform should contribute to the users’ general experience. An ideal ad is designed to target individuals based on their interactions with friends and relationships with businesses, artists, and brands. According to Facebook, advertisers have to ensure their ads follow all applicable regulations, statutes, and laws. Any ad placed on Facebook should not contain deceptive, fraudulent, misleading or false content or claims. Privacy Advertisers can only use Facebook advertising data anonymously to evaluate the effectiveness and performance of their ad campaigns. The data should not be used to identify a specific device, computer, browser or user. Information obtained directly from users can only be used after they provide consent. Advertisers also need to ensure they comply with set laws when using the information. In addition, no data should be indirectly or directly transferred or sold to a party that is not involved in the advertisers’ ad campaigns. Ad Creativity and Positioning Every ad component has to be appropriate and relevant to the service or product an advertiser is offering and the particular audience it is directed to. Ads should not include flash animations or audio that plays automatically without the user’s interaction. The ads placed on Facebook should not position any service or product in a sexually suggestive way. Facebook does not allow ads that take advantage of political agenda or controversial topics for commercial gain. Every ad placed on the network should adhere to proper grammar. Any letters, numbers or symbols have to follow their genuine meaning. All ads have to symbolize the specific brand, service, company or service being advertised. Links provided on Facebook ads should not lead users to prohibited services or products. Facebook ads should not target users based on their personal characteristics such as religion, race, age, sexual orientation, gender identity, name, financial information, criminal record, medical condition or disability. If an ad leads a Facebook user to a particular landing page, it should allow them to navigate away once they have explored the page. Ad Content Every claim made in an ad has to be substantiated and should not offend the users. Any offers highlighted on the ad should not be deceptive or false. Ads are not allowed to promote illegal services and products or violate a third party’s rights. Ads should not promote use or sale of adult services and products. Contraception and family planning ads are permitted but they have to follow the established targeting requirement. Ads that promote dating sites are allowed as long as they do not emphasis on sex. Facebook ads cannot facilitate or promote the consumption or sale of any recreational or illegal drug. Tobacco products and paraphernalia are prohibited. Ads can promote online gambling but this depends on the country. Prior authorization is required to include ads that highlight online casinos.
