16 FAMOUS LOGOS WITH A HIDDEN MEANING (That We Never Even Noticed)

06:29
How to design a successful logo? How to build a famous brand for your business? Some of the most well-known logos in the world were purposefully designed to indicate something much more than simple beauty. In fact, it seems that in some cases, every line, curve, and color has meaning behind it. Adidas, Apple, BMW, Coca-Cola, Toyota… We see these famous brands everywhere but never consider what their logos exactly mean. Curious to know the secret? Watch the 16 famous logos with a hidden meaning you've never noticed. #logomeaning #logosecret # Hyundai 0:33 The letter ’Н’ symbolizes two people – a client and a representative of the company – shaking hands. Adidas 0:52 The current logo is three stripes at an angle which together form a triangle. This symbolizes a mountain, which in turn represents the challenges that all sportsmen have to overcome day after day. Apple 1:21 Rob Janoff, the designer who came up with the world-famous Apple company logo, explained his idea in one of his interviews. He bought a bag of apples, placed them in a bowl, and spent time drawing them for a week, trying to break the image down into something simple. Vaio 1:58 The first two letters of the Vaio logo symbolize an analogue wave. The last two are similar to the numbers 1 and 0 — that is, symbols of a digital signal. Amazon 2:14 The orange arrow is similar to a smile because the company wants its customers to be satisfied. The arrow is also stretched between the letters ’A’ and ’Z’, in a hint that the company sells absolutely every product you can imagine. Baskin Robbins 2:40 The pink-colored parts of the "BR" section make up the number 31, which is how many ice cream flavors Baskin Robbins used to famously sell. Toyota 2:56 The logo represents a stylized image of a needle eye with a thread passing through it. This is a hint at the company’s past – they used to produce weaving machines. Continental 3:28 Continental, a famous car tire producer, has a logo in which the first two letters depict a car wheel. Formula 1 3:41 If you look carefully at the white space between the letter ’F’ and the red stripes, you can see the number 1. Pinterest 3:59 On Pinterest, people collect images they like from across the Internet and ’pin’ them to their online boards. That’s why the image of a pin is hidden in the letter P. Beats 4:17 Beats, an audio equipment producer based in the USA, uses a logo in which the letter ’B’ looks like headphones on a person’s head. Toblerone 4:32 The famous chocolate company based in Bern, Switzerland, has a silhouette of a bear in its logo. That's because Bern is sometimes called a city of bears. BMW 4:55 The logo is simply a part of the Bavarian flag, the area of Germany where the company originated. LG 5:18 The logo is a stylized image of a person’s face. According to the company, this represents its aspiration to have human relations with their customers. Evernote 5:34 The corner of the elephant’s ear is folded over in a similar way how people fold the corner of a page to make notes. Coca-Cola 5:57 In the space between the letters ’O’ and ’L’, you can see the Danish flag. It’s purely a coincidence. Nevertheless, Coca-Cola has used this as part of its marketing campaigns in the Scandinavian country. If you’ve enjoyed this video, hit that thumbs up button! 10 Secrets Hidden Inside Famous Logos

04:34
See more at www.brilliantnews.com Branding nowadays is absolutely everywhere you look. We are constantly bombarded with so many icons and logos that we rarely stop to look further into them, but there are some very interesting and bizarre secrets hiding within these 10 famous logos! 1. Hyundai Bet you think the H logo is just the first letter of the South Korean car manufacturer Hyundai? Of course you do! But it actually represents two figures: the happy client shaking hands with the Hyundai salesman, cleverly projecting the subliminal message of a successful car purchase. 2. Apple It was Rob Janoff who was tasked with creating the apple logo back in 1977. Janoff bought a bag of apples and spent the week sketching them, trying to represent the perfect angle where the fruit couldn´t be mistaken for a cherry. This was when he added a bite mark and stumbled across the similarity between Bite and Byte. This was definitely a selling point for Steve Jobs. 3. Vaio The first two letters in the computer company's name symbolize a digital waveform and the io is designed to look like a 1 and a 0, representing binary and the mix of analog and digital. Also the melody that sounds on startup actually derives from the dialtone sounds on a telephone keypad on typing V-A-I-O 4. Amazon Always aiming to please, Amazon designed their logo to represent a smile, projecting a sense of satifaction in their brand. Not only that, but the arrow also starts at ´a´ and finishes at 'z' implying that the company stocks every product you could possibly desire. 5. Toyota T-o-y-o-t-a. All the letters of the companies name can be found within the logo. But what does it represent? You're thinking A big strong buffalo's head or a cowboy with a hat, right? Wrong! It actually represents a needle and thread! This Japanese car manufacturer actually began making weaving machines and keeps its logo to this day! 6. Continental Sometimes overlooked, the continental logo is simple and clever. The first two letters are designed to symbolize a car wheel. 7. Toblerone This awkward-to-eat chocolate treat doesn't just have a simple mountain in its logo. Toblerone is made in Bern, Switzerland, so it´s no surprise to see one of the Swiss alps in its logo. But it also hides a secret bear hidden in the mountain, as Bern is known as the city of bears and the bear symbol is heavily decorated throughout the city. 8. BMW The German motor company started out making airplanes in 1916 and many think that the checker pattern in its logo represents the spinning propellers of an airplane. But it is actually just the design of the Bavarian flag, the part of Germany where the company originated. 9. Domino's Pizza In 1960 College dropout Tom Monaghan borrowed $900 to by a tiny pizza placed called Dominic's. 5 years later he bought 2 more locations. The former owner refused Tom the permission to use his name in the franchise so Tom turned it into Domino's. The dice in the logo represent the first restaurant that he bought, followed by the next two, and he had planned on adding numbers on every new opening. That was before he realized how big the franchise would become. 10. Unilever Who is Unilever, right? It's actually a huge corporation which owns over 400 famous brands. You've only got to look on the back of any of these popular products to find their logo hiding there. (Axe, Lipton, Ben and Jerry's, Dove, Heartbrand, Hellman's) But that's not all, the actual unilever logo is made up of 25 smaller logos, each with a rich meaning. A strand of hair or an icecream representing various brands, to more obscure references, like this bee... Which of these logos surprised you the most? Comment Below!

In fact, it seems that in some cases, every line, curve and color has meaning behind it. Here are 17 famous logos with hidden meanings that we never noticed before. Fascinating! 17. Hyundai Many people are inclined to think that the logo of the South Korean conglomerate Hyundai is simply the first letter of its name. But actually, the letter ’Н’ symbolises two people (a client and a representative of the company) shaking hands. 16. Adidas The name Adidas is derived from that of its founder, Adolf Dassler. The company’s logo has changed over time, but it’s always included three stripes. The current configuration is three stripes at an angle which together form a triangle. This symbolises a mountain, which in turn represents the challenges which all athletes have to overcome. 15. Apple Rob Yanov, the designer who created with the world-famous Apple company logo, has explained how he came up with the idea: ’I bought a whole bag of apples, placed them in a bowl, and spent time drawing them for a week, trying to break the image down into something simple. Taking a bite out of an apple was part of the experiment, and completely by coincidence I realised that ’bite’ sounded exactly the same as the computer term ’byte’. 14. Sony Vaio The first two letters of the logo of Sony Vaio make up a wave, which represents an analogue symbol, whereas the last two are similar to the numbers 1 and 0 — that is, symbols of a digital signal. 13. Amazon At first glance, Amazon’s logo appears to be nothing special. But it was designed with the philosophy of the company in mind. The orange arrow is similar to a smile, as the company wants its customers to be satisfied. The arrow is also stretched between the letters ’A’ and ’Z’, in a hint that the company sells absolutely every product imaginable (’from A to Z’). 12. Baskin-Robbins The pink-colored areas of the "BR" part of the logo here make up the number 31, which is the number of different flavors of ice cream that Baskin-Robbins used to famously sell. 11. Toyota Many people have compared the logo of the Japanese car-producer Toyota to the image of a cowboy wearing a stereotypical hat. But it actually represents a stylised image of the eye of a needle with a thread passed through it. This is a hint at the company’s past — of a time when it used to produce weaving machines. At the same time, the individual parts of the logo also spell out the letters of the company’s name. 8. Pinterest The logo of the popular internet site Pinterest, which people use to collect images they like from across net and ’pin’ them to their online notice board, has the image of a pin hidden in the letter P. 6. Toblerone Toblerone, the famous chocolate company based in Bern, Switzerland, includes a silhouette of a bear in its logo, on account of the fact that Bern is sometimes called a city of bears. 5. BMW It’s often supposed that the central part of the BMW logo symbolizes the rotating blades of an airplane, in line with the company’s early history of aviation technology, but it is in fact simply a part of the Bavarian flag — the area of Germany where the company originated. 4. LG The logo of the South Korean electronics company LG is a stylized image of a person’s face. According to the company, this represents its aspiration to maintain ordinary, human relations with its customers. 3. Evernote Elephants are known for having impressive memories, including their ability to remember both faces and events. It’s for this reason that Evernote, a note-taking application, uses an image of the animal as part of its logo. 1. Pepsi 2. Coca-Cola

How To Find Logo Design Ideas

12:51
Graphic Design Resources: https://goo.gl/kUXMpU How To Find Logo Design Ideas: Hello everyone, welcome back, many of you asked me, how to find logo design ideas, it was really a hard question to answer, because I can’t teach you creativity, but there is some methods that help you get creative and come up with great logo design concepts. So today, I am going to walk you through the process of designing a logo, but I will concentrate on the thinking behind the design part. Generating Logo Design Ideas: In order to generate great logo design ideas, you have to put in the time into the thinking behind the design, it’s a whole process, if you follow it, you will be in good position to come up with good ideas, that works as great solution for the client’s problem. Creative Brief: To start the thinking process, you have to collect every information needed of your client, and this can easily done by creating a creative brief, It’s a simple document you send to your client, that ask thoughtful questions about the client and his business, in order to gather specific information about the project, and to define your client’s expectations. Analyze brief, discover & research business competitors and target audience. Mindmapping: After sending the creative brief documentto the client, he will respond with the information needed. The company name is Royal Veggies Transport. The client wanted something elegant and classy, at the same time the logo needs to reflect the veggies aspect. To achieve that, we will use the logo’s main keywords to extract some unexpected ideas, that is what we call mind mapping. Mind mapping is the creation of a visual representation of the words related to the main topic, then finding other associations to these words, in order to generate creative logo ideas. Words Association: After The mind mapping phase, I make separated lists, each main word with its associations. then I take off the words that I find inconvenient to the project, then I make some combinations of three words, one word from each list, so I can get some unexpected ideas for the logo . Sketching Saul Bass said, Design is thinking made visual. So after all the thinking and the research process it’s time transform that into a visual. So, these are the combinations of the word that I extracted from the Mind Mapping and the word Associations. To attend the right solution for your logo, you have to execute all the combinations, then you filter them and the stronger survive. I will walk you through the execution of one combination, which is, Carrot, Crown, Wings. Putting in mind all the information that I collected before, I will start by sketching. It doesn’t require being precise when sketching, it’s only about capturing the essence of the idea. In fact, anyone can draw, as I showed you before in the mood board I collected some Images, I will use it as reference, if you don’t know how to draw a carrot, look at a photo of a carrot, and try to do the same thing with simpler form. What makes a truly great logo

04:45
Here's how a simple mark ends up meaning something big as a great logo. Joe Posner, and Michael Bierut (designer of the Hillary Clinton logo) explain. For more from Michael Bierut on graphic design, check out his book "How to use graphic design to sell things, explain things, make things look better, make people laugh, cry, and (every once in a while) change the world": http://www.amazon.com/How-Michael-Bierut/dp/0062413902 Subscribe to our channel! http://goo.gl/0bsAjO About once a month, there's a new logo to fight about on the internet. The biggest one in recent memory was the highly controversial Hillary Clinton logo, which did not escape scrutiny from Vox.com either. But as a designer/filmmaker, something about these repeated discussions struck me as missing the point on what makes logos tick. It often has little to do with the subjective musings. So I called up Michael Bierut, the designer of that Hillary Clinton logo and countless others. He sat down with me and helped explain the elements of a great logo in the video above. Subscribe here ➜ http://bit.ly/JustOneDimeSubscribe If I was asked, "What is the #1 most important thing to teach a new Amazon seller?" without hesitation I would reply, "How to private label your product so that no one else can sell it." This is the heart of building passive income on Amazon. Private labeling means you did something to the product to make it uniquely your brand that no one else has rights to sell. Private labeling can be done on numerous levels, and one level that I did not mention in this video is informational private labeling, where you add a manual or how-to tips to your product--information that you personally wrote, so that no one else can mimic your product. Here are the main levels of private labeling your product on Amazon: First Level: - In your listing title, add "By [Your Company Name]" - Upload your logo as one of your product photos. Make sure it is not the first photo or the last two photos. Second Level: - Have your logo printed on a sticker that you attach to your product or to the packaging. - Have your logo printed on the product or the retail packaging of your product Third Level: - Accessorizing. Add accessories to your core product that no one else is adding to theirs. A powerful way to achieve this which makes it extremely hard for competitors to compete with you is by adding a training manual or instruction tips that you personally wrote. Fourth Level: - Trademark your company name and logo. You can apply for trademarks in numerous countries simultaneously here: http://www.wipo.int/madrid/en/ Brand Registry: When you register your brand with Amazon, no one else can edit your listing and it also makes it much more difficult for competitors to claim that your product is "not authentic." Three steps to take to be prepared for applying for the Brand Registry https://sellercentral.amazon.com/brand/catalog-brand-application/create?: 1. An image of your product packaging with branding visible on the packaging. 2. An image of a product with your branding visible on the product itself. 3. Link to an active website that displays your brand or products.

Vornado Logo Design, Brand Identity and Brand Packaging

01:52
We developed Vornado's Brand Promise, a new strategic brand identity and retail packaging identity that changed Vornado's future. The solution came in radical simplicity and a revolutionary anti-branding information architecture. We even re-named all of Vornado's products the same name for each product category and developed a new universal tagline for each product category. Crazy simple. Insanely simple. All the air circulator products are now called 'Whole Room Air Circulator" which is the brands "unique relevant benefit". This also allowed us to position Vornado as the original--leaving the competition to imitator status. Plus, we made the package design communication ultra clear by fully explaining what an air circulator is and what it means relative to a fan with the tagline, The tagline reads, "The fan that circulates all the air." Now Vornado's brand and brand packaging is differentiated from competitors and clearly positions Vornado as the definitive category leader and innovator. It's so simple and so clear it dominates the retail shelf. Until this new brand packaging Vornado failed for years to gain space on Target's lucrative retail shelves. With this new packaging, they not only got on the shelves but, according to Mark Zarich Director of Sales at Vornado the buyer actually said, "The packaging was the best in category." The brand packaging is selling so well Vornado has doubled their SKU's. The package is built as a sequential graphic design structure with each panel leading to the other building one concept on the previous. The graphic blue strip on the front right edge with the cut out arrow encourages turning the package to the blue panel which explains how Vornado circulates all the air. The graphic green strip with the cut out arrow on the blue panel encourages turning the package to the green panel which explains how whole room air circulation saves energy and money and makes a room more comfortable. The graphic black strip with the cut out arrow on the green panel encourages turning the package to the black panel which list benefits. The front panel states and explains Vornado's "unique relevant benefit" while all the other panels support that assertion. It was all developed out of the 'Brand Promise" and that's what we mean when we say strategic graphic design. What we developed with and for Vornado was, "Intelligent. Superior engineering. Innovation". From this we created the new brand packaging identity which Target said was the best packaging in the category and it got Vornado on Target shelves for the first time in their long history. Relatively the same products just different brand strategy and packaging. We didn't just say they were "Intelligent. Superior engineering. Innovation" but we designed an intelligent and innovative package and branding that showed superior engineering. The contextual approach, brand strategy, logo and graphic design embody the brand promise. Insight Design Communications is a breakthrough brand design studio with extensive experience in brand packaging. Client: Vornado. Work: Logo Design, Brand Promise, Brand Strategy and Architecture, Brand Guide or Corporate Identity Brand Manual, Brand Packaging for all categories; Wholeroom Air Circulator, Wholeroom Heaters, Wholeroom Humidifiers, Wholeroom Personal Air Circulators or Fans and Wholeroom Air Purifiers. Brand Product Brochure and Brand Story Brochure and Vornado Trade Show Graphic Design. This logo design and brand identity will be visible throughout the United States and in cities like Kansas City, Kansas, Wichita, Kansas, Dallas, Texas, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Denver, Colorado, New York, New York, Los Angeles, California, and Europe and Asia.

Famous Logos With a Secret Meaning | In Hindi | Abhi's Take

07:06
A Logo is the face of a brand, and we often buy this or that item because its "face" is well-known to the world. Come on, don't deny it! As for the best logos, they convey a hidden subtext that represents the company's values, goals, or history. So, here are the world famous logos with a secret hidden meaning! TIMESTAMPS: SONY VAIO: 00:38 TOYOTA: 00:58 HYUNDAI: 1:38 BMW: 1:59 AMAZON: 2:24 APPLE: 2:56 AUDI: 3:23 PEPSI: 3:53 COCACOLA: 4:24 ADIDAS: 4:49 FEDEX: 5:16 IBM: 5:46 GOOGLE: 6:02 MUSIC: https://youtube.com/audiolibrary/music SUMMARY: Apple: Rob Yanov, the designer who created with the world-famous Apple company logo, has explained how he came up with the idea: ’I bought a whole bag of apples, placed them in a bowl, and spent time drawing them for a week, trying to break the image down into something simple. Taking a bite out of an apple was part of the experiment, and completely by coincidence I realised that ’bite’ sounded exactly the same as the computer term ’byte’. VAIO: The first two letters of the logo of Sony Vaio make up a wave, which represents an analogue symbol, whereas the last two are similar to the numbers 1 and 0 — that is, symbols of a digital signal. Hyundai: Many people are inclined to think that the logo of the South Korean conglomerate Hyundai is simply the first letter of its name. But actually, the letter ’?’ symbolises two people (a client and a representative of the company) shaking hands. Adidas: The name Adidas is derived from that of its founder, Adolf Dassler. The company’s logo has changed over time, but it’s always included three stripes. The current configuration is three stripes at an angle which together form a triangle. This symbolises a mountain, which in turn represents the challenges which all athletes have to overcome. Amazon: At first glance, Amazon’s logo appears to be nothing special. Toyota: Many people have compared the logo of the Japanese car-producer Toyota to the image of a cowboy wearing a stereotypical hat. But it actually represents a stylised image of the eye of a needle with a thread passed through it. This is a hint at the company’s past — of a time when it used to produce weaving machines. At the same time, the individual parts of the logo also spell out the letters of the company’s name. BMW: It’s often supposed that the central part of the BMW logo symbolizes the rotating blades of an airplane, in line with the company’s early history of aviation technology, but it is in fact simply a part of the Bavarian flag — the area of Germany where the company originated. Pepsi: It’s hard to believe, but Pepsi paid over a million dollars to create this special logo with its secret meanings. The new special design hints at mysterious and secretive themes, such as the Earth’s magnetic field, Feng shui, Pythagoras, geodynamics, the theory of relativity, and the golden ratio. The designer has explained that this logo also makes reference to the Mona Lisa, the Parthenon, and even René Descartes. The red, white and blue colors have always represented the American flag. Audi: At first glance, the Audi logo is simple and clear, but that is not the case. Each circle symbolizes one of the 4 founding companies in 1932: DKW, Horch, Wanderer, and Audi. FedEx: FedEx is an incredibly popular shipping company, and its logo is plastered on trucks and planes all over. While there isn’t anything incredibly groundbreaking in the colors or simple type, there is a hidden gem in there. Have you ever noticed the arrow hidden in the negative space between the ‘E’ and ‘x’? The arrow represents the idea of moving forward with speed and precision, much like the FedEx brand. Google: Another incredibly recognizable logo worldwide (even after their recent redesign), Google’s logo is supposed to symbolize that they don’t play by the rules and know how to have fun. Instead of having a crazy font or symbol, they chose to relay their message with color. They stuck with the primary color palette but broke it with a secondary color, green.
