GENIUS HACKS FOR ANY SITUATION These life hacks and tricks are gonna be unexpectedly helpful in numerous life situations. If you often use eyewear you'll like these hacks. If your glasses often fogging up, I advise you to rub some plain soap into the glasses and then wipe it up with a napkin as usual. When your eyeglasses keep slipping down, take two rubber bands, tie them round the temples of the glasses. That's it, no more slipping down! If you're just trying to pick up a new pair of glasses or buying eyewear for the first time, don't forget to take the table test. Simply put the eyeglasses right on the table and then carefully look at the glasses' temple tips, whether they both reach the table surface or not. If not, it means the temple tips are of different length! It may cause a lot of discomfort while wearing them. In case you have high myopia of −6.00 diopters or more and accidentally lost your eyewear on the working desk. Grab your phone, turn on the camera and zoom in on the table surface until you see your glasses. Another nasty problem every four-eyed probably faced - scratches on the lenses. Put some toothpaste on the lens and rub it in. Did you know how handy plastic bags can be? You can use them as a smartphone case to protect your gadget from the damp and sand when you take it to the beach with you. You can cook an awesome puffy omelet using plastic bag as well! How to make your hair smooth and shiny If you want to get the perfect hair, comb your hair before washing. Have shower with the temperature of the water 40-50c. Don't apply shampoo directly to your hair. Instead, pour a little on your palm and make a lather. Then massage it into your scalp, spread along the length of your hair and rinse with cold water. Apply hair balsam along your hair's length and wash it off after 5-7 minutes. Finally, take a cold shower. 3. Care for your hair after washing Pat them dry with a towel. Don't rub, don't twist, don't wring out not to damage your hair! Allow it to dry a little and apply few drops of hair oil or thermal protection to your tips. Brush it with a coarse-toothed comb. If you want, you may dry it with a hair dryer, but remember to use cold air and dry it from the roots to the tips. Always finish drying with cold air. George Condo was part of the 1980s wild art scene in New York. In this video, recorded in his New York-studio, the iconic artist shares his life-long love of drawing and thoughts on his artistic expression, which he describes as “artificial realism.” ”I kind of draw like you’re walking through the forest, where you don’t really know where you’re going, and you just start from some point and randomly travel through the paper until you get to a place where you finally reach your destination.” Condo studied music theory at college, but soon realised that it was too formal and rigid for him, and that he needed an art form that would give him more freedom. However, he still approaches his art like a musician, working fast and following the rhythm of the drawing or painting without “missing any of the notes.” The tempo, he feels, is very important when it comes to art. Condo wants his work to contain clear references to the different artists – from Picasso to Velasquez – they’re inspired by, but with a twist. His painting or drawings are about finding a way in which one can capture a person’s humanity through a portrait – capturing not just the outside but also the inside. Moreover, Condo aims to “turn negatives into positives”, portraying “the ordinary characters that make up our lives, whether it’s the janitor or the bus driver or the school teacher or the principal or the mailman or the truck driver. These are not the glamorous people that you see on the cover of Vogue Magazine, but they are what the world is composed of. And to give them a spot in the world is what I always admired about Rembrandt to a certain degree…” “I love drawing as much as painting, so why not make your paintings from your drawings, but literally have there be no defined sort of hierarchy between the two mediums?” Condo started making “drawing-paintings”, where you can’t distinguish e.g. paint from pastel, or a line made with a paintbrush or a line drawn in from and thus making the two mediums equal: “There’s no real difference between figurative painting or abstract painting, ‘cause it’s all painting to begin with… You don't’ have to follow any rules as a painter. If you’re making an abstract painting it doesn't mean eventually it can’t morph into a figurative one.” When a famous art historian asked Condo what he called the form of work he did, Condo thought of the description “artificial realism”. Artificial realism gives the painter the opportunity to go back and paint something in a realistic way while still portraying all that which is artificial in our world. In continuation of this, he finds that now everything seems to be “artificial realism” with the fake news that is all around us: “Art is the truth, and everything else is a lie.” George Condo (b. 1957) is an American contemporary visual artist working in the mediums of painting, drawing, sculpture and printmaking. Condo mixes input from art history’s masters – such as Velasquez, Manet and Picasso – with elements of American Pop Art. He distorts and renews this material so that it stands out and becomes his own: a kind of strange hybrid that blurs boundaries between the comic and the tragic, the grotesque and the beautiful, the classic and the innovative. As part of the wild art scene in New York in the early 1980s, Condo was close to painters such as Jean-Michel Basquiat and Keith Haring, and worked for Andy Warhol’s Factory, applying diamond dust to silkscreen. Condo’s work is in the permanent collections of MoMA, the Whitney Museum, The Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum and the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York, the Broad Foundation in Los Angeles, Tate Gallery in London, Centre George Pompidou in Paris and Astrup Fearnley Museum of Modern Art in Oslo, among others. He is the recipient of an Academy Award from the American Academy of Arts and Letters (1999) and the Francis J. Greenberger Award (2005). Condo lives and works in New York City. George Condo was interviewed by Kasper Bech Dyg at his studio in Soho, New York City in September 2017. "Creative Life" Magazine is a Indianapolis based organization and will feature articles, stories, art, poetry, music and more about the inspiring talent shared within schools across the city. Our goal, is to focus our efforts on retrieving news about our young growing and very talented generation. There is story to be read, a picture to be taken, a voice to be heard, a dancer to been seen, and a work of art needing to be shared not just within the school of the artist, but other schools across the city. I want to bring their ways of the arts out of their schools, and to be shared with the rest of the world. Creative Life is a quarterly issued magazine that will feature many different aspects in the art community. It will provide access to local talent. It will provide an outreach on performing art venues that schools will host. It will have an area of input where a discussion forum will share the opinions, values, and ideas of others. The articles will cover a wide array of many topics. What would it be like to read about another schools Performing Arts Club, or to see different photographic themes from multiple proms? How would you view the world from an artist that creates Modern Art versus Contemporary Art? Where would you go to see a city of young poets come together and find their work all shared in one place? That is "Creative Life" and that is the reward I want to share with my viewers. Creative Life will also have a section for a reader to write, draw, paint, and do anything the imagination will let them do. Once done, they can send their work to us and we will feature it in the next issue. Creative Life Magazine will be distributed to local area middle and high schools both public and private. Then to the local populace and everywhere it can sell. Most of the articles will feature stories and events within these schools and also local performing and creative venues that the city will have to offer. With all the talent to be discovered out there, this magazine won't be a small newsletter and there will surely be plenty to read about. We definitely don't want to stop here. So eventually we will be looking for others in different cities who might want to bring Creative Life to their city. The funds will go towards the cost of printing, distribution, and hiring staff such as photographers and journalist. To make Creative Life even more in touch with what it does, some staff members will include students within their own schools for a more knowledgeable access to what their school has to offer. We hope to print 1,000 copies for the first issue while working with a few school we already have lined up. Granted summer vacation is coming up, but the arts doesn't take a summer break. There will still be plenty of work to do, events to cover during the summer months, and the fall will be here before we know it. This magazine will provide many rewards, so the dreams of others can and will be shared with every student who has a passion for stirring the soul. Creative Life Magazine has a motto and a motto that I want to share for our viewers to hopefully relate to.... "Inspiration is the key to individuality, so follow the path the makes you true and endless possibilities you can do." In a Martial Life #7, Don Franks visits Infinite Jiu JItsu in Rocklin California. Professor Gustavo is the head instructor and owner of the Brazilian Jiu JItsu gym. Don brought his friends and teachers, Sensei's Darlynson Lira, Damokles Lira and Carlos Rocha. Tom Callos also joined the group and speaks about the Ultimate Black Belt and it's meaning. Darcio Lira Jiu Jiu JItsu http://www.darciolirajiujitsu.com A Martial Life http://www.amartiallife.com Episode #7 http://youtu.be/RvGUO4n004Y The UBBT's Curriculum - From Tom Callos The "ultimate" test is one that challenges the person taking the test --in ways that are important, empowering, significantly beneficial, and meaningful, to THEM. The ultimate test isn't, I think, a test of all the things someone is excellent at, things that aren't genuinely challenging, but is made up of things that are, perhaps, just beyond (or way beyond) the tester's comfort zone and current level of skill. Furthermore, the ultimate test for a 24 year old in his or her youthful prime, wouldn't necessarily be the ultimate test for the 50, 60, or 70 year old. The concept of The Ultimate Black Belt Test that you, or anyone, can take home, right now, is that every black belt test could --and I think, should --be designed for the individual taking the test, so that it's not just about the physical skills developed and hardship someone has endured to reach a "black belt" level of skill, but is also a life-affirming and spiritually empowering milestone, on any and all levels we might haver the intelligence, creativity, and wherewithal to cultivate as teachers and guides. In the world of Tiki, one name has always stood out, Oceanic Arts. Founded in 1956 by Bob Van Oosting and LeRoy Schmaltz, the pair took a 37,000 mile trip throughout Polynesia and greater Oceania to bring an unparalleled level of authenticity to their work that led to their shop becoming the dominant force in mid-century Tiki pop. LeRoy Schmaltz is to this day considered the Godfather of modern Tiki carving, and coupled with Bob's business savvy, their business now supplies Tropical Decor to everything from backyard parties to films like Pirates of the Caribbean to resorts like Walt Disney World and, of course, Tiki bars and Polynesian restaurants the world over. Bamboo Poles, Thatching, Hand-Carved wooden Tikis, Tribal Masks, Bars, Decorative poles, light fixtures, Pufferfish lamps, Leis, sea-shells, Ceramic Tiki Mugs, Nautical Carving, Fishing Nets, Floats, even plastic turtles! In fact, some of the largest Tikis in polynesia were carved right here in Whittier, California by LeRoy and Bob! Join us today as this incredible pair of visionaries invite us in to have a look around their treasure trove of all things nautical, tropical, and TIKI. Agreeing to sit down with us on their lunch, they also tell much of the history in their own words. These two guys are a huge influence on the world of Tiki, but also a huge inspiration to us all, having founded their business on their passion and keeping their doors open for 58 years. As LeRoy said, "In the early days people would ask us, 'when are you going to get a real job?'" And they never did.. Matt work is process-oriented. He works in short bursts, layering vibrantly colored repetitive writing to create a visual cacophony. His words are chosen impulsively and focus on recurring themes of the natural world, classic tv and cartoons. He occasionally adds a corresponding representative image or collage element, but these are eventually covered with more colorful letters. Though he works primarily in marker and crayon, Matt has recently shown interest in printmaking, painting and assemblage.

Hey Guys! Here's a new "episode" of this new series (maybe?) called squishy bakeovers. If you guys like this i will do more of course. this was a lot more challenging than the first video where i made blondies, but I still had fun with it! I decided to try to make French Macarons for the first time (against my better judgement) even after reading that they are very advanced and super hard to master. I found an "easy" recipe for beginners that's supposed to be fool proof. Not sure if its quite fool proof.... REMEMBER. I am not the best at baking, but I try and have fun. Try not to get triggered. HERE'S THE RECIPE I AM USING: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MjVgIXccYXA&t=107s REPEATED COMMENTS: "That's not how you separate egg yolks" –I've seen the egg shell transfer thing before, but the recipe suggested to use your hands so that's what I did "That's not a hand mixer" –HAHA yes I know. I'm not THAT clueless haha. That's why I shouted "HAND MIXER?!" My stand mixer is the only mixer I have VIDEO FACTS: –Filmed this from 9am-6pm....yes. that's how long it took me to make ONE macaron LOL. To be fair though, I was operating 2 cameras and 4 lights on my own as well soooo it's not too bad...i guess –Started the video with freshly painted nails. Ended with not a single spec of nail polish. I had really cheap crap on and it just completely peeled off. Also, stained my fingernails really bad, so they look so gross in the end sorry ___UPLOAD SCHEDULE___ Every Friday at 4:00pm ET: Alternating Squishy Makeovers, Thrift Makeovers, Craft Kit Reviews, Create This Book, Mail Openings and Miscellaneous crafts and DIYs PURCHASE ME PRODUCTS CREATE THIS BOOK: https://amzn.to/2vUerfI CREATE THIS BOOK 2: https://amzn.to/2Nx2G9f ME MERCH: https://teespring.com/stores/moriah-elizabeth GET TO KNOW ME BECOME A PATRON (GET ACCESS TO EXCLUSIVE CONTENT): https://www.patreon.com/moriahelizabeth VISIT ME WEBSITE: http://www.moriah.video/ INSTAGRAM: instagram.com/moriahelizabethofficial CONTACT ME EMAIL PICTURES OF YOUR ART: [email protected] FOR BUSINESS INQUIRIES ONLY: [email protected] _MAIL ME_ For sending squishies, Letters, or general fan mail, please contact: [email protected] to request my P.O. box address :) •FOR SERIOUS INQUIRIES ONLY PLEASE! What would this world do without all these comedic people? Whether they are purposefully trolling or not, these martial artists show you a lighter and also a painful side of martial arts training and matches. Whether it is combat sports or exercise, hope these clips make you train harder and think more about life and self-defense. For those of you watching, which one of these clips is your favorite? For anyone featured in this parody, you are welcome to make fun of me anytime if you get offended by this. Just make sure the Russian Choriok Master is on your side before you challenge me to a cringe comedy duel ;) Original video here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dyr-28N_pwo Support Fight Commentary Breakdowns on Patreon or Paypal: https://www.patreon.com/jerryliu https://www.paypal.me/jerryyueliu Check out the storefront for Fight Commentary Breakdowns related equipment: https://www.amazon.com/shop/influencer-bbbbd7c6?listId=3EGN100TEI096&ref=idea_share_inf More videos like this to come!
