Check out our new website for more incredible history documentaries: HD and ad-free. http://bit.ly/2O6zUsK The most exciting underwater story of the modern age On June 19th 2011 the Swedish-based diving company Ocean Explorer discovered something extraordinary. They were exploring in the Baltic Sea between Sweden and Finland, looking for sunken treasures when a very unusual image suddenly appeared on the sonar. A 197ft diameter cylindrical object was discovered at the depth of approximately 275 feet, something they had never seen before. In this documentary special, we follow the treasure hunters and their crew on their expedition to reveal what could be the most extraordinary discovery in deep sea ever. We share the tension, the excitement and the nervousness that threats – both known and unknown – may be enforced. There is reason to believe that their ship is under surveillance. Using advanced equipment - ROW cameras, sonar pictures and human divers, we discover that the findings really are something very strange and incredibly unique. In 1996, according to a Polish poll, the three most popular people in the country were Pope John Paul II, Mr. Jurek Owsiak, and then-Polish-president Mr. Kwasniewski. Who is this Jurek Owsiak? At the time, Owsiak was the director and founder of Poland’s biggest charity, the Great Orchestra of Christmas Help. Every year during the Christmas period, the charity would put on television benefit programs, during which the public phone in pledges to buy medical equipment for children’s hospitals. In 1995, the Orchestra raised one million dollars, no small amount for an Eastern European country. In the mid-1990s, Owsiak had also arranged a folk-rock festival in the summer, called Woodstock. The festival, which is based on the concepts of the original Woodstock in America, is attended by tens of thousands of young people. His original reasoning behind organizing the festival was “so that all of the people who took part in the winter fundraising can come together for a summer meeting of love, peace, and music.” My Recommended gear use this links to support my work : Steady cam: https://amzn.to/2wWMfsL Camera: https://amzn.to/2wZjf3K Lens: https://amzn.to/2wXPEb1

140000 Year Old Alien Ship Found At Bottom of The Baltic Sea?

03:47
140000 Year Old Alien Ship Found At Bottom of The Baltic Sea? Swedish explorer Peter Lindberg and his Ocean X Team of marine explorers discovered a truly mysterious object at the bottom of the Baltic Sea, later to be likened to the Millennium Falcon. Lindberg’s team describes themselves as treasure hunters and salvage operators who specialize in underwater searches for sunken “antique high-end alcoholic beverages and historic artifacts”. They were on a dive search in the Baltic Sea between Sweden and Finland for an old shipwreck when they discovered the strange object, which is now called the Baltic Sea Anomaly. As they were approaching the object, the side-scan sonar they used to detect the shipwreck stopped working. According to Stefan Hogerborn, a professional diver within the Ocean X team, “Anything electric out there, and the satellite phone as well, stopped working when we were above the object, then when we got away about 200 meters, it turned on again.” According to Ocean X, the anomaly has an appearance of “rough granite” and is round in shape. It is 3 to 4 meters thick and approximately 60 meters in diameter, stands on an 8-meter tall pillar-like feature, and is located at a depth of 85 to 90 meters. It was on their second expedition that the team found something that looks like a staircase and a round black hole which goes directly into the structure. The anomaly is made of metal and is said to be approximately 140,000 years old! Based on that hypothesis, the Baltic Sea Anomaly would have been formed during the Ice Age. A sample recovered by divers found that the object contained limonite and goethite – metals that Israeli geologist Steve Weine claims could not have been naturally reproduced in this form. A counterargument has been served by Swedish geologists Fredrik Klingberg and Martin Jakobsson that the compositions of the samples are not uncommonly found in sea beds and that they can indeed be formed by nature itself. However, sonar devices found drag marks behind the object, and Weiner says according to his tests, the structure is not a geological formation. The stone samples have also been analyzed by associate professor of Geology at Stockholm University, Volker Bruchert, who found that most of the samples were granites, gneisses, and sandstones. He also found a single loose piece of basaltic (volcanic) rock, which is not common to be found on the seafloor, but also not unusual. He claims that these rocks were possibly transported by ice glaciers since the Baltic region is heavily influenced by glacial processes, in which Danish archaeologist Jørgen Dencker also supported this claim. Some claim the object to be a remnant of a World War II Nazi anti-submarine device and considered that it could also be a damaged gun turret from an old battleship. Another claim was that of Göran Ekberg, marine archaeologist at Maritime Museum in Stockholm, who thinks that it was indeed a geological formation. He conceded that the findings are indeed unusual, especially because of its circular shape, but that nature has produced things that were stranger and far more unusual than the Baltic Sea Anomaly. Other experts say that the formation may be a pillow basalt, a moraine, or the product of a hydrothermal vent. But the most controversial claim about the Baltic Sea Anomaly was that it was of alien technology, perhaps, a part of an alien ship that happened to fall into the Baltic Sea. All of the explanations given by different experts seem to contradict each other, and until now, there has been no new information or test results to explain the Baltic Sea Anomaly. Denis Asberg, a member of the Ocean X team, said that they have contacted geologists and marine biologists, who all said that they had never seen anything like the Baltic Sea Anomaly. This has triggered more tests and analyses to be performed by other experts. Since there is really no absolute explanation for the Anomaly and how it could have gotten where it is now, this may remain one of the many enigmas of the world that are beyond human knowledge. THIS 200ft wide object 300ft below the Baltic, with its ‘staircase leading to a dark hole’, has baffled oceanographers since its discovery in 2012. Dubbed the “Baltic Sea Anomaly”, the structure looks like the Millenium Falcon from Star Wars. It was discovered five years ago by Swedish treasure hunters, Ocean X team, led by Peter Lindberg, its captain, and his co-researcher Dennis Asberg, The Sun reports. They used a side-scan sonar and found something strange 91 metres below the surface of the water.

Baltic Sea Cycle

In the summer of 2015, Jenny Tough cycled from Copenhagen to Copenhagen, a complete 3800km circumnavigation of the Baltic Sea, solo and unsupported, in 35 days. The trip started with freezing nights camping in deep forests of the Nordic countries, then transitioned to terrifying and at times goofy Russian traffic, then she explored the ex-Soviet Baltic nations, slept on stunning white-sand beaches in Poland, and finally pushed hard on exhausted legs through Germany and Denmark to arrive back in Copenhagen within hours of her designated cut-off time. Her film is her first attempt at filming her adventures, and was entirely self-shot and edited on a single GoPro.

From Cold To Happiness: Baltic Sea At Winter Time 2011

03:47
Last weekend my friend Andrius invited me to visit Palanga and Baltic Sea. Palanga is a seaside resort town in western Lithuania, on the shore of the Baltic Sea. It is the busiest summer resort in Lithuania and has beaches of sand 18 km long and beautiful sand dunes. Normal people visiting Palanga at summer time, but only not us. That day weather was horrible, however when we were half way to Palanga sun came out, clouds and snow disappeared and we felt like really lucky. When we finally reached our last destination we were surprised how beautiful was there even at winter time. We spend all day walking around shore and ice, doesn't matter that day was really cold. I spend 24 ours to create this short video about our trip, so don't expect something special and I also had not enough footage. Camera used: Canon 550D; Lenses used: Tamron 17-50mm f/2.8 VC, Canon EF-S 18-55mm f/3.5 with Macro Tube (I used it to capture my watch at very close distance. You can see it at the begging of video). Zacuto Z-Finder Pro x2.5 also helped me a lot, because without it I would be not possible to capture video at such a shiny day and definitely Magic Lantern with Focus Peak Helped me a lot. Music: Paul Kalkbrenner - Sky And Sand (Feat. Fritz Kalkbrenner) (Original Mix)

The Baltic Sea Anomaly | UFO At The Bottom Of The Sea

06:50
The baltic sea anomaly | UFO at the bottom of the sea. The Baltic Sea anomaly is a 60-metre diameter circular rock-like formation on the floor of the northern Baltic Sea. It was discovered by Peter Lindberg, Dennis Åsberg and their Swedish "Ocean X" diving team in June 2011. To date, we have explored less than five percent of the ocean. The ocean is the lifeblood of Earth, covering more than 70 percent of the planet's surface, driving weather, regulating temperature, and ultimately supporting all living organisms. Studies suggests there are as many as eight undiscovered whale and dolphin species, 10 undescribed marine reptiles, and thousands of sponges, crustaceans, algae, plants, and other species still to be found. The average depth of the ocean is about 12,100 feet. The deepest part of the ocean is called the Challenger Deep and is located beneath the western Pacific Ocean in the southern end of the Mariana Trench, Challenger Deep is approximately 36,200 feet deep. So with this knowledge we should keep an open mind about what could be laying at the bottom of the sea.
