Make sure your arms are relaxed. Waist measurement (inches): Your waist measurement should be taken at the smaller section of your natural waist, usually located just above the belly button. If you bend sideways, this is the point where the crease forms. Hip measurement (inches): Standing with your heels together, run a tape measure around the fullest part of your seat, keeping the tape measure parallel to the floor.

They're one of the most important muscle groups found in your body without them you wouldn't be able to walk run or jump and you would also have a serious case of flat pancake butt. Nobody wants see a flat butt not guys and not girls so in today's video I'm going to do all the peach loving people of the world a big favor and give you guys the 5 best exercises for a nice looking butt. And if you've been doing your squats and you've been trying your absolute best but your glutes just don't seem to grow give this video chance because I'm going to dive into specific methods you can use to Target your glutes to build a nicer butt so you can fill up those jeans in no time. Let's start with the very first one that everyone knows about and that's barbell squats. But we're not just doing regular barbell squats the best types of squats to work your glutes are deep barbell squats. Getting down nice and low during squats is the secret to building nicer glutes. A lot of people are afraid of going low during squats because of the many myths that exist about how low you're allowed to go. The truth is that as long as you don't have any previous injuries to your knees and your form is correct you can go almost all the way to the ground. This is actually something that trainers call ass to the grass squats. And going nice and low for your squats is a very natural movement for your body. I always bring up this example but before we had toilets we would take a squat every single day and that squat was naturally a deep squat. This is why deep squats are a very natural movement that our bodies have had plenty of time throughout history to adapt to. The problem is if you're not used to squatting a deep squat feels like anything but natural. So it's important that you learn the right way to do it and if you're not used to squatting the best way to start is 2 put a seat or a platform behind you and simply stand facing a mirror and sit down and get back up sit down and get back up. Most people perform a very good squat when they're sitting down but if you tell that same person to squat without a platform behind them they'll start messing it up. After you feel comfortable enough you can get rid of the seat or platform and try to perform regular squats. You would do this by keeping your chest out towards the mirror turning your hips out too kind of exaggerated The Arc in your back leaning back on your heels so take all the pressure off of your toes as you squat keep the pressure on your heels and then just sit back while trying to keep your knees from crossing too far over your toes. Once you're comfortable doing that you can try to put a really short platform on the ground and try to squat down and tap that platform with every rep. Now after you feel like your form is on point you can add the barbell into the movement and you can start incrementally increasing the weight. Remember the key points are to squat low stick your chest out and stick your butt out and stay on your heels as you come down for your squats. Let's move on to the second exercise step-ups but once again we're not doing regular step-ups because regular step-ups don't Target your glutes anywhere near as much as the way that I'm about to show you. You see normally when people are doing step-ups they're actually working their back calf a lot more than they think. Sure they're still going to work their quad and their hamstring a little on that front leg to get up on top of the platform they're stepping up on. However that back calf is taking the pressure off of the glute on the other leg. And this happens because most people will kickoff for every rep when doing this exercise. So to turn this into an exercise that improves your butt I want you to point the toes of your back foot up towards the ceiling the whole time. By pointing your toes towards the ceiling it makes it impossible for you to kick off. So this puts all the stress and work that's required to get your body up that platform on that front leg and that bottom portion of going up without kicking off is going to Target the glutes big time. The one thing that you should keep in mind is since you're not kicking off you will probably have to use less weight than what you were doing if you were to just do regular step-ups.

All right, so the first one is going to be something simple, you can do at home. You're going to come down on all fours, and it's going be a side hip raise. So just like a dog peeing on a fire hydrant, if you picture that, all right? That's what you're going to do with your hip. So on all fours, take the hip straight out to the side. You're going to do 15 repetitions. Notice how my foot's not up here, back here, just bring the foot straight level. 15 reps and you're really going to feel it in the glutes and hips, and you're going to do forward circles, so kind of like you are getting on a horse. So big forward circles, 15 that direction, 15 backwards, all right? So we're going to do that three step combo: side raise, forward circles, backwards circles, and then from right there, you're going to go into a bird dog. So opposite hand, opposite leg and you're going to go elbow to knee. All right you're going to really feel that right hip screaming. Ok, side, forward, backwards. Then were going to do something with the powerband, and I'll have a link where you can click these and get these for cheap on Amazon. But basically these are resistance bands you put around your knees and this is going to help target the glutes, and the hips as well. Alright. So put it around the knees. You're going to lay on your side, heel to heel. So feet together and you're just going to open your knees keeping the heels together and back down. And you're really target that hip, I mean, crazy isolation on that hip. OK? So, 15 of those. So the goal will be 15 repetitions of each exercise, three rounds through, all right? So 15 repetitions, three rounds through. See how your hips feel after that, I'll promise you'll be burning some hip fat with that. For more information, click link below. Thanks, guys.

Sitting too much this tightness is pulling me into anterior pelvic tilt. Sometimes there's something to that but a lot of the time they may be tight & have a feeling of tightness but that does not mean they're strong. It takes a strong healthy hip flexors that activate when they're supposed to activate to actually stabilize your spine in your pelvis. So to keep out of anterior pelvic tilt, your hip flexors actually need to know how to work. A lot of what we do here is retrain the hip flexors to be able to do their job, to stabilize yourself during movement & once you're able to do that you'll find that a lot of your issues clear up & your movement actually improves. In a lot of conventional exercise you do at the gym, lifting weights, body building or powerlifting type workouts, hip flexion is not something that is done very much. I want to make this video about how to lose thigh fat because after doing a quick Google and YouTube search I realized that there is so much wrong information on this topic. Unfortunately these myths take advantage of women the most because women are most effected by excess fat in their lower body due to the fact that women tend to store fat in the hips and the thighs while men store it in their belly. One of the most common myths is that you can burn fat from the thighs by targeting the fat with specific exercises. Exercises like squats lunges hip Bridges and especially inner thigh exercises are believed to burn fat right off the thighs. I mean that's why you feel the burn in your legs right? Nope that's actually completely wrong. When you're working your legs or any other muscle in your body lactic acid is a by-product of relaxing and Contracting muscles. These lactic acids are actually whats responsible for that burning feeling so it's not thigh fat being burnt it's just muscle being broken down. Building muscle is not necessarily going to result with thinner legs. In fact building muscle without burning fat can lead to even bulkier thighs. And the worst thing is that a lot of the exercises that women are told to do to burn fat from the thighs are inner and outer thigh exercises that don't require a lot of energy to perform which means unfortunately there's not going to be that much fat burnt even if you have a good diet. Now don't get me wrong I'm not saying that you shouldn't workout your legs with resistance training exercises to improve your lower body. The only way to give your legs a nicely defined shape is to build some muscle on your thighs. Also when you do weighted compound exercises like squats you recruit a lot of very large muscles which will make you burn more calories which could ultimately lead to burning more fat. However the ultimate deciding factor of how much fat you burn from your thighs isn't about how much exercising you do, it's about how much fat you're burning from your diet. Any kind of Target fat burning approache or spot reducing approache cannot work because we know that fat gets burnt across your whole body and not from any one specific concentrated area. This means that inner thigh exercises, body wraps, fat burner pills, and detox drinks arent going to do much for you. Fat burning creams believe it or not have shown to have some minor results in studies. However the results are so insignificant and that they might as well be considered negligible. Also I have a feeling that if you're applying something to your skin that's burning your fat underneath, it probably isn't that great for you health-wise. But I mean if losing an eighth of an inch from your thighs is worth sacrificing your health for then by all means go for it. And then there's CoolSculpting which is becoming more and more popular by the day for the quick fix Crowd. Here they apparantly will freeze the fat off with "controlled cooling". Many claim that its impossible to freeze fat cells without destroying skin cells and getting frost bite in the process. Whether that's true or not, it is well known that you have to have more than one treatment to see any kind of results, and even after multiple treatments results are described as mild. So the only way to really effectively burn thigh fat is by burning fat from your whole body through diet modification. There are a lot of diet plans out there you just have to find one that works for you. There's intermittent fasting, carb cycling plans, theres the ketogenic diet, you can do calorie counting or if it fits your Macros. Just make sure that whatever plan you do fits your lifestyle and is something you can be consistent with. Because yo yo dieting isn't gonna get you very far. Christian pilgrims would use flasks to bring home oil or other sacred substances. The flask as you know today is a modern beverage bottle and some pinpoint its origins to the 18th century England. In the US, prohibition made alcohol illegal from 1920 to 1933 but nevertheless people continued drinking. Flasks weren't just limited to the hip or the coat pocket but they were also worn by ladies in their garters or by men in their boots which is where the name bootlegging comes from. Today, a flax is primarily used to just carry one's own hard liquor if you know that you can't find it at the place where you're going to. Why is it called a hip flask or coat flask? It's because it was carried in the hip pocket of trousers or in the coat pocket of a sport coat suit or blazer. Flasks are great gifts because you can have them engraved with little mementos initials, important events or other things that remind you of something. In terms of materials, most flasks coming out are pewter, glass, sterling silver or stainless steel. Sometimes you can also find something that is leather encased but on the inside you'll always either have glass or steel. In terms of size, a standard flask contains about 8 ounces or 240 milliliters. You can also find much smaller ones but obviously they won't contain more than a shot. An 8 ounce container, you get about 4 to 5 decent-sized shots. What should you fill in your flask? Honestly the best thing is hard liquors - Whiskey, bourbon, rum, vodka, brandy, Armagnac. You name it, anything that's a hard liquor is perfect for a flask. Do's and Don'ts: Do understand that even though prohibition is long gone certain states still have laws that prohibit you from carrying containers of alcohol in public. Don't attempt to bring a filled flask on an airplane. Do carry to a wedding party maybe private places or any kind of event where you're absolutely certain that it will be acceptable to drink from your flask. Don't just carry a flash purely to get drunk. Don't take a flask to restaurants bars or theaters. When you are in company make sure you do offer your friends a round Don't bring a flask to funerals or occasions where flasks would be simply inappropriate. Do prepare to definitely get some judgment from people Don't buy kitschy shaped flasks. Don't carry more liquor in your flask that you can consume without embarrassing yourself. Do plan a safe ride home. Kneeling Lunge- Front and back knee shoulder width apart, roll your pelvis forward, squeeze your back glute and rock deeper and deeper into the stretch. Once opened up, try lifting your leg up behind you for a good quad stretch. 2. Internal/External Rotations- Put your feet out infront of you with your knees bent at 90 degrees. Rotate both knees down to the same size while keeping your entire foot on the ground the whole time. Do this 10 times and then try popping your butt off the ground by thrusting through your hips. 3. Frog- Start on your hands and knees then spread your knees as wide as is currently comfortable. Put your feet directly behind your knees and keep your entire foot on the ground the whole time. Rock back and forth 10 times going deeper and deeper into the stretch and hold as deep as you can for 10 seconds. 4. Prayer Squat- Squat down with your feet a little wider than shoulder width and place your elbows inside of your knees with your hands together. Gently press your knees outward with your elbows and if this is too tough, let your knees return back to normal positioning and push them out gently over and over 10 times until you can hold with your knees pushed out.
