In Remembrance of Classic Hollywood Actors & Actresses

06:56
A Montage in remembrance of Hollywood's Golden Age Stars. (Remember to watch in HD!) A Meaningful, Appreciation tribute featuring a variety of Classic Actors & Actress; Some that have left us, as well as others that are still here! The song was originally 4 minuets, giving me room for only 35 people! I had no choice but to extend the song for a longer period of time, rather than continuing the tribute with an entirely different song. Get Me? :) (You may hear a bit of an 'overlap' at one point.) PLEASE keep in mind before you comment, that a girl can't possibly include EVERYBODY in one video, so I'm sure you may notice some of your favorites may or may not be here, but It is nothing against that particular person, or me 'FORGETTING' them! I also included certain people in here whom I personally think deserve the spotlight as well ...some over-looked child actors, and other people who aren't seen as much as the 'well knowns', but I did include a generous amount for everybody to enjoy. ALL of the actors of that time are irreplaceable in my eyes. Also, you may hear some 'Ghost' audio clips-- I don't know how it happened, but I guess it was meant to be. :P I hope you all enjoy. This took me about 4 days to put together. As some of you who make tributes know; it's a lot harder than it looks. lol Song: 'Off I Go' by Greg Laswell In this tribute you will see In order: Rudolph Valentino Montgomery Clift Gary Cooper Anita Page Barbara Stanwyck Luise Rainer Harold Lloyd Cary Grant James Cagney Elizabeth Taylor Joan Blondell Jean Simmons Jimmy Stewart Mickey Rooney William Powell Humphrey Bogart Mary Pickford Marlene Dietrich Myrna Loy Clark Gable Edward G. Robinson Spencer Tracy Lauren Bacall Bette Davis Joan Crawford Karl Malden Kirk Douglas Sidney Poitier Jennifer Jones Debbie Reynolds Ginger Rogers Fred Astaire Olivia de Havilland Katharine Hepburn Henry Fonda Stan Laurel Oliver Hardy Paul Newman Hedy Lamarr Greta Garbo Tallulah Bankhead Shirley Temple Jackie Cooper Lionel Barrymore Adolphe Menjou Harry Langdon Grace Kelly Pola Negri Irene Dunne Betty Hutton Bing Crosby Bob Hope Carl 'Alfalfa' Switzer Jerry Lewis Van Johnson Frank Sinatra John Gilbert Ava Gardner Jean Harlow Judy Garland Lucille Ball James Whitmore Charlie Chaplin

The Original Stars: A Tribute to Classic Hollywood

08:44
Hey, guys! This is a video I made featuring my favorite Classic Hollywood leading men and leading ladies. As you've probably already figured, I couldn't and didn't include everybody. If there's someone you're missing, put their name in the comments. I may or may not make a sequel to this, but if I do, many suggestions will definitely be included. I do not own any of the material presented here. Thanks for watching :) Notes: *There are some mistakes in this video. I listed Sean Connery’s birth year as 1925, when it is, in fact, 1930, so I apologize. I also messed up Thelma Todd’s years. She was born in 1906, not 1905. *I’ve noticed a lot of comments saying that I missed certain people who actually appeared in the video. I know the pictures came and went relatively fast, but that is because I tried to include as many film stars in this video as possible (I’m sorry if they are too fast). Music: *To a Young Lady by Robert Farnon *Judy by Percy Faith *Marilyn by Percy Faith *Canadian Sunset by Eddie Heywood and Hugo Winterhalter

The Homes of Classic Hollywood Movie Stars

06:10
Hey, guys! This video is just some homes of Classic Movie Stars. Some of the pictures might be fast, so I recommend only looking at the house itself and not the celebrity's picture. A lot of elements of this video were inspired by Antonio Bramante's video of Classic Hollywood homes. You should also check his out. I do not own any of the material presented here. Thanks for watching :) Note: I made a mistake. The home listed as Irene Dunne's is actually Wallace Beery's. Music: A House is Not a Home by Dionne Warwick

Despite being Australian, the events of that day overwhelmed me with both anger and sadness on behalf of my gender. Instead of sitting around and brooding about the state of the world, I decided to pour all of my feelings into Sony Vegas and make a video...this video. Obviously several months have past- but my feelings remain the same. So this is my girl power tribute (with an Old Hollywood twist). Reasons for making this video aside, it's basically just a compilation of some of my favourite female performances from the Old Hollywood era (and I highly recommend all the films contained within this video). While not every character represented in this video is a pillar of strength, I still consider this a girl power tribute because all of the performances (regardless of the character being portrayed) are incredibly powerful and represent the very best Old Hollywood had to offer. A few of my favorite performances missed out (only because I had to try and match to lyrics as well as represent my favourite performances, which was incredibly difficult)- a few of the notable omissions were Vivien Leigh in "A Streetcar Named Desire", Katharine Hepburn in "Morning Glory" and "The Philadelphia Story", Greta Garbo in "Camille", Olivia de Havilland in "The Snake Pit", Judy Holliday in "Born Yesterday", Irene Dunne in "Penny Serenade" and "Theodora Goes Wild", Audrey Hepburn in "Sabrina", Shirley MacLaine in "The Children's Hour", Judy Garland in "A Child is Waiting" and Bette Davis in "Dark Victory" and "What Ever Happened to Baby Jane". There are more I'd love to mention but I'll stop now before I get carried away (too late!).

Copyright Disclaimer Under Section 107 of the Copyright Act 1976, allowance is made for "fair use", including non-profit, educational or personal. This is purely a fan video. No copyright infringement intended. Just for fun - a countdown of who I think are the most beautiful actresses from Hollywood's studio era (actresses included must have a film debut pre-1960). Please remember that I can only work with what I've got. If some legendary beauty isn't in this video then odds are that I don't have any of her films and was therefore unable to include her, or maybe I just didn't want to include her because I find others more beautiful. This video is just a bit of fun and should not be taken seriously. Beauty is subjective, there is no definitive list. These are just my preferences. VINTAGE PHOTOS OF CLASSIC MOVIE STARS (PART 1)

08:30
MOVIE STARS, PART 1 (43 PHOTOS) In the early days of silent movies, the names of the actors and actresses appearing in them were not publicized or credited because producers feared this would result in demands for higher salaries. However, audience curiosity soon undermined this policy. By 1909, actresses such as Florence Lawrence and Mary Pickford were already widely recognized, although the public remained unaware of their names. Lawrence was referred to as the “Biograph Girl” because she worked for D. W. Griffith's Biograph Studios, while Pickford was "Little Mary." In 1910, Lawrence switched to the Independent Moving Pictures Company, began appearing under her own name, and was hailed as "America's foremost moving picture star" in IMP literature. Pickford began appearing under her own name in 1911. The Independent Moving Pictures Company promoted their "picture personalities", including Florence Lawrence and King Baggot, by giving them billing, credits and a marquee. Promotion in advertising led to the release of stories about these personalities to newspapers and fan magazines as part of a strategy to build brand loyalty for their company's actors and films. By the 1920s, Hollywood film company promoters had developed a "massive industrial enterprise" that "...peddled a new intangible—fame." Early Hollywood studios tightly controlled who was a movie star, as only they had the ability to place stars' names above the title; according to film historian Jeanine Basinger, this was done "only for economic reasons". 1940s, 1950s, 1960s, celebrity & famous people, life & culture, people, portraits

11 Classic Hollywood Stars Who Had Plastic Surgery

03:59
When you look at the famous stars of the classic Hollywood era, do you think they’ve always looked like that? Do you think their beauty is always natural? We often assume that old Hollywood stars are just naturally beautiful, and never had anything done, just because it was a long time ago, and because they look different to what modern celebrities look like now. Plastic surgery has actually been a staple for Hollywood stars since 1920s. A lot of the stars we consider to be the beauty icons of classic Hollywood have actually had plastic surgery and today we’re going to take a look at some of them and what they’ve had done.

If you like this video, please support these film preservation charities: The British Film Institute, https://goo.gl/iwTkD7 The George Eastman Museum, http://eastman.org/donate The Film Foundation, http://www.film-foundation.org/donation My inspiration came from What's the Mashup? (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EmnSm_d2ll4) but I didn't manage 100! The idea was to do the same for movies from the Golden Age – meaning no title later than 1953 (although there is one at the end.) Oh, and none of these clips was sped up or slowed down. If you like the clips, go buy the movies on DVD! And the song on Google Play or iTunes! And thanks also to IMDB, clipconverter.cc and Nero Video. Turn on subtitles to find out the film names. PS. I write books as well. My top 20 most beautiful actresses during the Golden Age of Cinema

16:22
Please note that this is a list of actresses from the period of the Golden Age of Cinema, though using the period of the Golden Age of Hollywood as a benchmark. Technically speaking, this period was from 1927 to the early 1960s, with others believing the Golden Age of Hollywood to be from between the 1940s to 1950s. In my particular case, I have set the video to around the 1930s to 1950s though it's actually wrong to have such clear cut time frames, as the evolution of cinema never adhered to it. There is technically only one actress on the list that was not prominent to Hollywood (number 18), though she was (in my view at least) easily one of the most beautiful actresses from that time period. Please also note that this is a one-off video of this type. The Egyptian-style of music was used for obvious reasons; to signify their immortality via the medium of film.
