Top 2 Secrets to Customer Success in SaaS - Salesforce, Oracle, Zuora, and more

07:01
Read more: http://mndt.ch/2mUSzx2 “Customer Success is vital to your company’s ability to scale,” says Catherine Blackmore, GVP Global Customer Success, Oracle Marketing Cloud. Without the proper internal structure geared towards helping your customers succeed, you will find high churn resulting in lower retention rates, poor customer advocacy, and your competitors stealing your base out from beneath you. Watch what Tiffani Bova (Salesforce), Catherine Blackmore (Oracle), Tien Tzuo (Zuora), Nick Mehta (Gainsight), and Dan Adika (WalkMe) have to say about Customer Success—specifically, what it means to their individual organizations. Self-service help materials are the most efficient way to achieve customer success. Allowing your customers to onboard, train, support, and learn best practices, at their pace, with their own persona driven path through your content delivers not only a desirable customer experience, but allows your company to gather actionable user-data to positively affect the entire customer journey through research, buy, and succeed. Once a customer is able to self-serve and become an expert user of your product or service, they often become brand promoters, whether they realize it or not. They talk about your product, recommend it, and bring it with them as a way to get ahead when changing organizations. Self-service not only reduces the cost of supporting your customers, but generates revenue through people researching your product and customers promoting it. Case in point, MindTouch is honored by it’s customers, sharing their customer experience so much so that MindTouch is named a Top Rated Customer Experience Management Platforms in 2017 from TrustRadius! Thank you to all our happy customers! http://mndt.ch/2mUSzx2

Implementing Oracle HCM Saas by Sandy Boyd and Sebastian Samuel

02:22
When an end user implements an application on-site it is usually customised to match their internal best practices. However for Saas applications customisation is not possible and this is usually the first challenge for end users. Sebastian Samuel, CIO of AW Rostamani pointed out that end users should be able to use the standard practice as it is available on the Oracle Saas platform and not let any surprises come up. Sandy Boyd, Senior Director HCM Cloud Centre of Excellence for EMEA, Oracle mentioned that end users are not implementing an application, when they move to Oracle Saas applications, but are implementing a service. Updates to Oracle Saas applications are generated every week but delivered to customer once a month to make it practical for them to schedule their updates. Moreover the updates need to be tested by end users since Oracle cannot test them in every production site. Also Saas updates at the end user side, need to be completed as per schedule specified by Oracle. Additional regular information is available through Oracle Applications Customer Connect. https://ora-fusion-apps.custhelp.com/ The two day Middle East Oracle User Group Majlis 2015 held in March was opened by a welcome address by Kashif Manzoor, President, MEOUG. Close to 300 attendees registered and attended the Dubai event. Manzoor mentioned that the Middle East Oracle User Group was one amongst close to 500 globally. It is managed under the EMEA Oracle User Group as non profit, independent, full cover of Oracle Red stack. While MEOUG was formed in 2009, the first annual end user Majlis was held in 2011 coinciding with the formation of special interest groups.
