Trail Kitchens was founded by Hans Wain in 2014 in Truckee, California, with the goal of provdiving the ultimate portable kitchen and clean up workstations that organize your most essential kitchen gear into the most compact package possible.
Over several decades of adventuring in the western US and abroad, Hans discovered an unfulfilled need for an all-in-one camping solution for cooking, cleaning up dishes and cookware, filtering water, and showering outdoors. Most of the critical parts (stoves, tables, water filters, water heaters, portable showers, etc.) were available, but only as standalone product, so he decided to build a better solution by combining everything into a single, compact unit.
What began as a personal quest to simplify the preparation of kitchen gear for a road trip, has expanded into a full-blown business supported by an ever growing list of dealers and happy customers across North America.
