Los Angeles Travel Tips: 13 Things to Know Before You Go to LA

15:45
Things you need to know before you travel to Los Angeles California. LA is HUGE. You won't be able to see all of LA, unless you're staying for a very very long time. Los Angeles doesn't have a "center" and Downtown LA is not very exciting. LA is comprised of multiple cities Santa Monica, Beverly Hills, Malibu. Get a rental car - You'll need it to see most tourist attractions in Los Angeles. 2. Traffic - LA has traffic everywhere, all the time. All day, every day. Yes, even at 1am on a weekend. Deal with it. - The freeways have names -- it's not I-405 -- it's "THE 405" 3. Public Transit - LA has a subway! - But it probably doesn't go where you want! Especially the beach! 4. Parking - Is often Valet - and Costs money everywhere - Except when you're parking on the freeway :) - Pay attention to street signs (confusing times and days) 5. Navigation - Know where you're going and take the correct exit - Take the wrong exit and you might end up in some place really sketchy - Lots of little cities, the street numbering changes in different cities 6. Weather - LA is not always sunny and warm - It gets cold -- particularly at night - Shorts in the day, but pants and a jacket at night - And the ocean water is cold too... 70 degrees is as warm as it gets - Inland can be 30 degrees warmer than the beach - Lots of sunscreen - Sunglasses - It's dry -- moisturizer 7. LA is unlike the rest of California - It can feel like a different country, or at least a different state - Venice Beach in particular 8. Hollywood is in the neighborhood called "Hollywood" - West Hollywood is in front of the Hollywood sign (and a different city) with Fancy homes - East Hollywood doesn't have much - North Hollywood over the mountain is a suburb of LA - Oh by the way -- no actors in Hollywood - And if you go see a 30 minute sitcom taping it will take 4+ hours 9. The Valley - Means San Fernando Valley - Burbank, Studio City, North Hollywood, Van Nuys 10. LA's most well known attractions are also some of the most rundown - Hollywood Boulevard or is Tijuana? - Venice Beach, oh my lord 11. LA is casual - Flip flops and shorts are OK except in the most dressy establishments 12. Bring your own shopping bag - Supermarkets charge 10 cents for shopping bags in California 13. Mexican Food in LA is awesome - Get some fish tacos! - And visit King Taco! Hollywood Must See Places

19:34
It's weekend again and we decided to go visit the Hollywood area by taking the train from my place outside of Los Angeles. Taking a train ride will excite everyone to see the different cities on your way to downtown without worrying about the hazzle and buzzle of the freeway traffic and the weekend train pass is really affordable. So enjoy a brief view of our weekend trip of the city . From our trip you'll see how convenient to roam the different cities by the train ride. On our way to LA you will pass the famous Union Station in Downtown and will see the rustic interior of the building with the different classic interior of the building and the awesome view of Downtown Los Angeles is a bonus packed for the viewing public. Too much video files i'd gathered but not enough time to publish everything that why decided to split to multiple sequel for faster viewing.

New York has the most people, with a population of 8.5 million, while LA has around 4 million people. The New York metropolitan area, however, has 20.3 million people. So about 1 in 16 Americans live there. The Los Angeles metropolitan area has about 13.1 million people. Both are cosmopolitan, world famous cities. Two cities that never seem to sleep- always hustling and bustling. Over the last century, the two cities have dominated and influenced the culture of the rest of the country. It’s like the two forget the fact that the rest of us exist. You see this on mainstream TV. Most national news and entertainment programming occurs in LA or New York, although LA has way more YouTubers than New York. Both are by oceans. NYC by the Atlantic Ocean, and LA by the Pacific. Both are diverse. We’re talking people flock from all over the world to these two cities to start new lives. More than 37% of New York residents were born in another country. Nearly 40% of LA residents were born in another country. Almost half of the residents of LA are considered either Hispanic or Latino. New York has historically been the main way immigrants come to the United States. In both LA and New York, you’ll see lots of ethnic enclaves, or neighborhoods dominated by one ethnic group. Both tend to have younger residents compared to most other cities around the United States, although LA’s a bit younger. (The median age in New York is about 35.8, while the median age in LA is about 34.6.) It’s really freaking expensive to live in both cities, although LA is about 8.3% less expensive than New York. But it’s a lot more expensive to buy a home in LA. The median household income in both cities is similar. (LA 61,931, NYC 64,605) The unemployment rates and job growth rates are also comparable.(LA 4.2%, NYC 4.2% ) (LA 1.2% job growth, NYC 2% job growth) Related to how expensive it is in both places, of course, is how crowded both cities are. While LA is notorious for its bad traffic, by some metrics New York’s traffic is actually worse. Here’s another surprise. If you look at the entire metro areas, LA, the city known for its sprawl that goes on for miles and miles, has a higher population density than New York. But city proper, ain’t nobody as dense as New York City. We’re talking 27,000 per square mile in NYC versus around 8,000 people per square mile in LA. The average commute time for both cities is way higher than the national average. New Yorkers use more public transportation than LA folks BY FAR. I mean, there’s really no comparison. In LA, people own cars. They drive. In New York, over half of the households don’t own a car. 75% of Manhattan residents don’t.

Haunted Theaters of Hollywood / Haunted Places in Los Angeles

10:37
A documentary film on some of the most haunted theaters in Hollywood, where ghosts are present. These are the ghost stores based on witnesses. Some of the spooky haunted theaters I talk about are the TCL Chinese Theater, Warner Pacific Theater and the Pantages Theater. These theaters are known to be haunted with ghosts. These are some of the ghost stories of Hollywood. These places are considered to be some of the most Haunted places in Los Angeles, which make it part of the most haunted places in America. If you're a fan of Halloween or spooky places, these are some of the best places to visit and see for yourself. TCL Chinese Theatre is a cinema palace on the historic Hollywood Walk of Fame at 6925 Hollywood Boulevard in Hollywood, California, United States. Originally known (and still commonly referred to) as Grauman's Chinese Theatre, it was renamed Mann's Chinese Theatre in 1973; the name lasted until 2001, after which it reverted to its original name. On January 11, 2013, Chinese electronics manufacturer TCL Corporation purchased the naming rights to the facility, making its official name TCL Chinese Theatre. This resulted in the first affiliation of the Chinese Theatre with an actual Chinese corporation. This is where many famous celebrities got their hand and food prints, such as Marilyn Monroe, Jane Russell, Shirley Temple, Joan Crawford and much more! This is the location of the ghost of Victor Killian and a girl named Annabell. The original Chinese Theatre was commissioned following the success of the nearby Grauman's Egyptian Theatre, which opened in 1922. Built by a partnership headed by Sid Grauman over 18 months starting in January 1926, the theatre opened May 18, 1927, with the premiere of Cecil B. DeMille's film The King of Kings. It has since been home to many premieres, including the 1977 launch of George Lucas' Star Wars, as well as birthday parties, corporate junkets, and three Academy Awards ceremonies. Among the theatre's most distinctive features are the concrete blocks set in the forecourt, which bear the signatures, footprints, and handprints of popular motion picture personalities from the 1920s to the present day. Hollywood Pacific Theatre is a movie theater located at 6433 Hollywood Blvd. in Hollywood, Los Angeles, California, on Hollywood's famous Hollywood Walk of Fame. Originally known as the Warner Bros. Theatre or Warner Hollywood Theatre, the Italianate beaux arts building was designed by architect G. Albert Lansburgh with approximately 2,700 seats. It opened on April 26, 1928, showcasing the studio's early Vitaphone talking film Glorious Betsy, starring Conrad Nagel and Dolores Costello. This is the location of the ghost of Sam Warner. Warner Bros. owned radio station KFWB positioned its radio transmitter towers on top of the building, which remain to this day. Though covered by "PACIFIC" lettering, the original "WARNERS" lettering can still be seen inside each tower. The Hollywood Pantages Theatre, formerly known as RKO Pantages Theatre, is located at Hollywood and Vine (6233 Hollywood Boulevard), in Hollywood. Designed by architect B. Marcus Priteca, it was the last theater built by the vaudeville impresario Alexander Pantages. The palatial Art Deco theater opened on June 4, 1930, as part of the Pantages Theatre Circuit. This is the location of the ghost of Howard Hughes and many others. The Pantages Theatre Circuit had been built on vaudeville, and the new Hollywood theater programmed first-run movies alternating through the day with vaudeville acts for its first two years. But like other theaters during the Great Depression, it was forced to economize and thereafter operated primarily as a movie theater, though live entertainment was presented occasionally. Alexander Pantages sold the Hollywood landmark in 1932 to Fox West Coast Theaters. In 1949, Howard Hughes acquired the Hollywood Pantages for his RKO Theatre Circuit and moved his personal offices to the building's second floor. From 1949 through 1959, the theatre hosted the American motion picture industry's annual Academy Award Ceremonies.[2] It continued to be a major venue for Road show movies into the 1970s. From 1965, it was operated by Pacific Theatres. The Hollywood Pantages closed as a movie theater in January, 1977, and re-opened the following month with Bubbling Brown Sugar, the first of the many stage productions that have since become its regular fare. Now operated by an arm of the Nederlander Organization, the Hollywood Pantages is one of Los Angeles' leading venues for live theater (the five highest-grossing weeks in L.A.'s theatrical history were all shows at the Hollywood Pantages). The theatre has recently presented large-scale Broadway musicals such as Disney's The Lion King, which ran at the theatre for over two years, and hosted the long-running Los Angeles production of the Broadway musical Wicked.

The Hollywood Bowl is Also an Awesome Park Open to the Public During the Day

03:13
We Like L.A. helps you find the best things to do in Los Angeles! If you enjoyed our visit to the Hollywood Bowl and you're looking for other cool spots in Los Angeles, check out our visits to the Downtown L.A. Art Walk: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=z1rsekDLfFc or the Baldwin Park Scenic Overlook: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iB3BqmHN61o * * * * About this video: One of things we never thought about is that the Hollywood Bowl is actually owned by the Los Angeles County Department of Parks and Recreation. (In the video we mention in the video the county operates the park, but to be accurate, the Bowl is operated by the Los Angeles Philharmonic. Apologies for any confusion). Although the site of the Bowl had already hosted several outdoor productions and concerts by the early 1920s, including the first-ever bowl performance by the Los Angeles Philharmonic, it was in 1924 when the property was officially deeded over to L.A. County. This transfer set the stage for the Hollywood Bowl to be preserved and improved upon for future generations. Over the years these improvements and renovations have seen everything from new seating to different iterations of the iconic shell about the main stage. One fascinating tidbit I learned in researching the venue before we arrived was at one point there was actually a pyramid shaped shell designed by Lloyd Wright (sone of Frank Lloyd Wright), but that only lasted for about one year. One thing that's remained constant over the years has been the commitment of the venue to preserve the native habitat. There are dozens of animals and plants that reside at or near the Bowl grounds, and efforts to maintain the habitat lead to the Hollywood Bowl being the first amphitheater in California to be certified as an Audubon Society Cooperative Sanctuary. If you're looking for a game-plan on where to go during your visit, one preferred method for exploring the grounds is through what's called a Bowl Walk, which offers a playbook on points of interest every visitor should see, including, the Muse of Music, the Cahuenga Pass Treasure, and of course the shell of the amphitheater. In addition to the walk, you'll definitely want to check out the Hollywood Bowl Museum, located at the site of the Old Tea Room, near the bottom of the hill off Pepper Tree Lane. Here you'll find a collection of old photographs, posters, and exhibits depicting the timeline of the Hollywood Bowl. You can also head up to the second floor where the museum hosts temporary, featured exhibitions. Most recently on exhibit is Attention Pilots | Hollywood Bowl and the Skies Above the history of how the Bowl has tried to fend off airplane noise from interfering with their performance schedule. Speaking of concerts, during the summer you can even catch open rehearsals by the LA Phil as they prep for evening performances. This is probably one of the most unique aspects of a day-visit to the bowl, as if you time it just right you could hang out with a little picnic and hear some world class musicians tuning up for a gig. Just be sure to call Audience Services (323-850-2000) ahead of time if you want to find out about the upcoming rehearsal schedule. If you're planning a visit keep in mind there is free parking in Lots A and B during the day, but you might want to call ahead to avoid any event or construction-related park closures. The Hollywood Bowl is open daily at around 8 a..m. and is usually closed by sunset (or sometimes earlier if there is an event). Museum hours vary seasonally but breakdown as follows: Summer Hours: June 20 – September 27 Monday: CLOSED Tuesday – Saturday: 10 a.m. – show time Sunday: 4 p.m. – show time Off-Season Hours: September 28 through June 19 Sunday - Monday: CLOSED Tuesday – Friday: 10 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. Saturdays: 30+ groups by appointment only Closed Thanksgiving Day, Christmas, and New Years Day LINKS Hollywood Bowl website: http://www.hollywoodbowl.com/ Hollywood Bowl Guide for Newcomers: http://www.hollywoodbowl.com/visit/guide-newcomers Hollywood Bowl Walk: http://www.hollywoodbowl.com/visit/hollywood-bowl-museum/bowl-walk

Venice beach + Hollywood - Best of Los Angeles, California - "Visiting Places Series"

04:15
Virginia and I have visited Los Angeles in beautiful, California on more than one occasion. Best things to see and visit while in L.A. : We went to Venice beach, Santa Monica beach, Hollywood walk of fame, Sunset Boulevard, Shopping to different places. One place that I will most definitely want to visit again is: Venice Beach. Never got bored and there is always something new and exciting happening there. Travel and seeing new places, people and experiences, brings me a feeling of personal satisfaction and pleasure. Absolutely love to travel and to share this new experience with you So here we are. I have merged two trips into one to show as much as i have gotten in pictures and a little recording. The muscle beach is definitely an interesting place to hang out, then ...the cafes, stores, street art...all fun and always diverse. There are actually two areas - one on Venice beach and the other one on Santa Monica beach. I even had a guy serenading me on the beach, that was so sweet. We both truly had an Amazing time and want to go back soon. I definitely didn't do enough shopping last time. We visited a health food store, that had supplements we needed and are not available in Canada, only USA. I really want to mention, that we went on a tour provided by the hotel :of the Rich and Famous Hollywood homes, and that turned out to be a complete waste of money, we drove around only saw the homes from the bus, through the trees, and never entered any celebrity home at all. Special thanks to Virginia for accompanying me on this trip, it wouldn't be the same without you. Virginia's channel : https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCuqC... Haunted Hotels of Hollywood / Celebrity Ghosts Documentary

15:09
A documentary film on some of the most haunted hotels in Hollywood California. Guests at these hotels have seen sightings of Marilyn Monroe's ghost as well as Montgomery Clift's ghost. Also the ghost of John Belushi and Rudolph Valentino. These are the ghost stories based on witnesses. These hotels are located in Los Angeles, California. These haunted hotels are some of the most haunted places in America. This documentary also features rare footages of Marilyn Monroe, Montgomery Clift and Rudolph Valentino. If you're a fan of Halloween or spooky places, these are some of the best places to visit and see for yourself. The hotels I talk about are: The Roosevelt Hotel The Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel (at 7000 Hollywood Boulevard) has not just one, but two celebrity ghosts! Montgomery Clift, stayed at the hotel for three months while rehearsing his role in the 1953 movie "From Here to Eternity." His ghost now allegedly haunts room #928 of the 9th floor of the hotel, playing a trumpet, and pacing the hallways while reciting his old lines. At the same historic Roosevelt Hotel, the ghost of Marilyn Monroe has supposedly been seen several times in a full-length mirror, which was originally located in her poolside Suite 1200, where Marilyn often stayed. The mirror in which her image supposedly appears is now located next to the elevator on the lower level. This hip, upscale hotel dating to 1927 sits along the Hollywood Walk of Fame and across the street from the TCL Chinese Theatre. Chic, modern rooms and suites (some named after famous former residents such as Marilyn Monroe) come with premium bedding, flat-screen TVs, designer toiletries and WiFi (fee). Upgrades offer garden or pool views, hardwood floors and/or private balconies. Room service is available 24/7. Amenities include a fitness center and an outdoor pool with a buzzy bar scene. There's also an exclusive cocktail lounge, a game parlor with 2 vintage bowling lanes, a celebrity-haunt nightclub and a 24-hour burger joint. The Knickerbocker Hotel The Hollywood Knickerbocker Apartments, formerly the Knickerbocker Hotel, is a retirement home located at 1714 Ivar Avenue in Los Angeles, California. Designed by architect E.M. Frasier in Spanish Colonial Revival style, the historic hotel opened in June 1929. It catered to the region's nascent film industry, and is the site for some of Hollywood’s most famous dramatic moments. On Halloween 1936, Harry Houdini's widow held her tenth séance to contact the magician on the roof of the hotel. On January 13, 1943, Frances Farmer was arrested in her room at the hotel after failing to visit her probation officer when scheduled. On July 23, 1948, filmmaker D. W. Griffith died of a cerebral hemorrhage on the way to a Hollywood hospital, after being discovered unconscious in the lobby of the hotel. D.W. Griffith, Irene Gibbons, Rudolph Valentino and Marilyn Monroe haunt this old hotel. This is the location of the seance for magician Harry Houdini. Chateau Marmont Hotel Chateau Marmont is a hotel located at 8221 Sunset Boulevard in Los Angeles, California. The hotel was designed by famed architect William Douglas Lee and completed in 1929. It was modeled loosely after the Château d'Amboise, a royal retreat in France's Loire Valley. The hotel has 63 rooms and suites. Throughout the years, Chateau Marmont has gained recognition. Director Sofia Coppola shot her film Somewhere at the hotel in 2010. James Franco created a grand scale replica of the Chateau Marmont for his Rebel Without a Cause exhibit at MOCA in 2012. The opening scene of the indie neo-noir film The Canyons was shot at the Bar Marmont. The hotel was also a location for Oliver Stone's The Doors. Singer Lana Del Rey alludes to the hotel in her song "Off To The Races" from her album Born to Die. It is also the office of fictional paparazzi Patrick Immleman in the Panel Syndicate web comic The Private Eye. Jim Morrison took up a short term residency in 1970. Billy Wilder, Hunter S. Thompson, Annie Leibovitz, Dorothy Parker, Bruce Weber, F. Scott Fitzgerald, Tim Burton, Jay McInerney, Terry Richardson, Death Grips and Ville Valo, among others, have also produced work from within the hotel's walls. John Belushi died of a drug overdose in Bungalow 3 on March 5, 1982, and still haunts this room.

Where Hollywood Shoots All Its Plane Scenes | Movies Insider

04:38
Many of the most iconic plane and airport scenes were filmed in the same place — Air Hollywood, the LA production studio entirely dedicated to aviation. We take you behind the scenes of their sets to see how they created famous scenes in movies like “Bridesmaids,” “Wolf of Wall Street,” and “Kill Bill,” and in TV shows like “Brooklyn Nine-Nine,” “The Office,” “Grey’s Anatomy,” “Silicon Valley,” and “It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia.” Air Hollywood was also behind some of the famous plane crash sequence in “Lost.” Plus, they’ve provided the sets for music videos by artists like The Weeknd and Pitbull. As the biggest aviation-themed studio in the world, Air Hollywood has three full aircraft interiors and an airport terminal set that’s reconfigurable into any part of the air travel experience. They’re equipped with a huge warehouse of props and costumes from different decades and can easily switch out their seats, signs, and parts to replicate different eras, settings, and memorabilia from different decades. Their realistic production design has drawn some of TV’s and Hollywood’s biggest directors and producers, including Martin Scorsese, Quentin Tarantino, Steven Spielberg, J.J. Abrams, Mindy Kaling, and Shonda Rhimes. Places to see in ( Hollywood - USA )

01:36
Places to see in ( Hollywood - USA ) Hollywood is a city on Florida's east coast, between Fort Lauderdale and Miami. Palm-dotted Hollywood Beach is backed by the long Hollywood Beach Broadwalk. ArtsPark at Young Circle features an outdoor amphitheater and a striking fountain. Nearby, the Art and Culture Center of Hollywood offers contemporary exhibitions and performances. The Anne Kolb Nature Center is a reserve with mangrove trails and an aquarium. Hollywood is a coastal city in Florida, USA that is located between the cities of Miami and Fort Lauderdale. With a population of 146,000 people, Hollywood, Florida is a relatively small city that retains an old laid-back Florida feel to it compared to the larger cities in the area. Hollywood can be divided into four different areas. The first would be Hollywood Beach along the Atlantic Ocean, where you will find most of the action. A short ways inland is Art Deco downtown Hollywood, filled with restaurants, shops, a park, and California essence housing. From here on out there is not much to see as residual housing and small business occupies the area. When you finally get to the edge of town by the Florida Turnpike, you will find a few hotels, casinos and other attractions here along an Indian reservation owned by the Seminole Tribe of Florida who have lived in the area since the 18th century. Hollywood is in southeastern Broward County, and includes about 5 to 6 miles (8.0 to 9.7 km) of Atlantic Ocean beach, interrupted briefly by a portion deeded to Dania Beach. It is bounded by these municipalities: To the north: Fort Lauderdale Dania Beach To the northwest: Davie Cooper City To the west: Pembroke Pines To the southwest: Miramar To the south: West Park Pembroke Park Hallandale Beach A lot to see in Hollywood Florida such as : Oleta River State Park Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Gulfstream Park Racing and Casino Hollywood Beach Broadwalk Flamingo Gardens Dr. Von D. What's New in Las Vegas for 2019

09:36
The great thing about Vegas is that it’s always changing.. There’s always something being torn down to make way for something new.. That’s why Vegas as a travel destination never gets old! In this video I’m going to tell you what’s new on the Las Vegas Strip for your visit in 2019! I’ll tell you about the newest openings in hotels, rides, restaurants, shopping, entertainment, and some stuff coming soon that isn’t open yet! New Hotels Park MGM Formerly the Monte Carlo, in between the New York New York, and City Center complex. T-Mobile Arena, Park Theater, and the “Park” which is between NYNY and Park MGM. Mandarin Oriental rebranded the Waldorf Astoria Flamingo’s New Bunk Bed Suites The Flamingo is adding about 10 Bunk Bed Suites. Each room has queen beds with an elevated single bunk-bed loft above it. There's even a bunk bed suite with almost 1,000 square-feet of living space. They will be available starting February 1 Resort Fees and Parking Ugh -- nearly every hotel is charging some sort of resort fee, and parking. Notable free parking exceptions on the strip are Planet Hollywood and the Venetian Palazzo -- yes, they still charge a resort fee. New Rides Fly LINQ The only Zip Line on the strip 1,000 feet through the open-air LINQ Promenade 10 riders at a time, seated, or lying down. It flys over the LINQ Promenade -- an open air shopping mall that opened in 2013. Which if you haven’t been to Vegas since then, is definitely worth a visit. The Strip’s first In-N-Out Burger is in here… and there’s the High Roller, the tallest observation wheel in the world (at 550 feet tall, it's taller than the London Eye). New Restaurants Eataly 40,000 square feet of restaurants, retail, and a supermarket! Gordon Ramsay's Hell's Kitchen Taking over the former Serendipity 3 restaurant in front of Caesars Palace: Block 16 Urban Food Hall The Cosmo has opened its new "food hall," foodie favorite transplants including Hattie B's Hot Chicken from Nashville, District Donuts from New Orleans, Pok Pok Wing from Portland and more. Taco Bell Cantina The one on the strip has been such a success, they will be opening another one downtown. What is it? It’s taco bell’s flag ship restaurant! It has a fancy look, a VIP Lounge, DJ Booth, Merchandise, and they sell alcohol! And yes… it’s open 24 hours! Las Vegas has joined the anti straw movement Want a straw at MGM & Caesars Hotels and Casinos? You’ll have to ask for one! New Shopping Wynn Shopping Plaza It juts out from the hotel to the sidewalk on The Strip/ On the tenant list are Saint Laurent Paris, Soulcycle, Stefano Ricci, Stella McCartney, Brietling, Omega, Louis Vuitton, and others. Though Urth cafe I think is the stand-out for reasonably priced pastries and coffee. Entertainment LADY GAGA Takes up Residence Starting in December 2018 with 74 shows over 2 years at the MGM Grand Britney Spears is Back! She used to be at the MGM Grand -- if you want to see her now, head over to the Park MGM! Cher is still here! At the Park MGM Coming Soon! Resorts World Las Vegas A new $7 billion, Asian-themed property called Resorts World Las Vegas is being planned for the North Strip on the site of the former Echelon/Stardust project, across the street from Wynn Las Vegas. Raiders Football The Raiders NFL team are moving from Oakland to Las Vegas for the 2020 season. Monorail Extension The Las Vegas Monorail will extend the line from MGM Grand to Mandalay Bay. Beautiful Santa Monica Beach Los Angeles CA. with Virginia, IPhone 4s - "Visiting Places Series"

10:36
We had an Amazing time. California is beautiful, fresh, welcoming. People are nice, and the driving was the most relaxing here. The other drivers slow down to actually let you in the lane when you signal for lane change. The palm trees and flora make me feel warm and welcome. Lots more to see: like Hollywood walk of Fame, Venice Beach, Shopping centers Malibu Beach, which are all covered in my other videos. Just click on my channel and go to my video library. This was a family fun & business /career training trip, with my daughter Virginia, who is the Star of this video, since I am the Camera woman. The camera used was one from my IPhone 4s. I was a newbie with settings and footage size, so there are some imperfections. The camera was preset by factory default to 4:3 ratio. I have done my best editing and enhancing it, with quite good results. Review: Is is actually quite good, the pictures were nice and the video quality as well for a camera with only 5 mega pixels on it. We took a transit Bus from the hotel to get to the beach, it was by the way only a Buck. Then, we walked along the Beach from Sta Monica Pier, through the muscle beach area, all the way to Venice Beach, which is also in my video library and quite entertaining. At the Pier we were able to purchase local crafts and souvenirs to take back home. Travel and seeing new places, people and experiences, brings me a feeling of personal satisfaction and pleasure. Absolutely love to travel and enjoy the new experience. So here I am/ we are at Santa Monica Beach and Pier, in beautiful, sunny Los Angeles, California. Tips on Travelling to Los Angeles: Schedule your time, we didn't see all we wanted, because we went to Venice beach twice and missed going to one of the biggest shopping centers in L.A. No, problem, that is on our next to do list on the next Trip there. Car rental was very inexpensive and I used my Air miles to rent a car, I got 4 days of rental for my remaining air miles from the flight, and only a few dollars for taxes. Music by Epidemic Sound https://www.epidemicsound.com/ SUMMARY: - Salma Hayek met François-Henri Pinault at an event in Venice back in 2006. It wasn't actually their first encounter, though – they'd met briefly before that but never really had a chance to get acquainted. - In an interview with Seventeen Magazine, Beyoncé said that she met her future husband when she was just 18 and started dating the famous rapper at 19. - Jessica Alba's almost 11-year union started back in 2004 when she met her future husband Cash Warren on the set of Fantastic Four. - Alba's eye. Jessica Alba revealed to Cosmopolitan magazine that right after she met Warren, she called her best friend, telling her that she felt like she'd known him forever and was going to know him for the rest of her life. - Supermodel Claudia Schiffer has been married to film producer Matthew Vaughn for 17 years, proving once again that true love is out there! - Sarah Michelle Gellar and Freddie Prinze, Jr. met on the set back in 1996 and started off as really good friends. - Catherine Zeta-Jones and Michael Douglas have been married for almost 19 years. However, their first encounter wasn't that romantic after all, since Douglas walked right passed her and didn't even know it! - Sex and the City star Sarah Jessica Parker met actor Matthew Broderick at a party in New York City back in 1991. They were quickly smitten with each other and started dating right away. - Blanchett admitted that she and Upton had known each other socially and didn't really get along at first. However, after some time, that mutual dislike turned into mutual love, and they got married in 1997. - At first, it seemed like Lisa Kudrow and her now-husband Michel Stern were not meant to be. They met in the late ‘80s when Stern came to pick up Kudrow’s roommate for a date. - Even though this couple will celebrate their 31st anniversary this year, Sedgwick wasn't impressed by Bacon at all when she first met him on the set of Lemon Sky back in 1987. - Rita Wilson and Tom Hanks first met when Rita Wilson appeared in one of the episodes of Bosom Buddies, a sitcom Tom Hanks starred in. At that time, Hanks was already a husband and father, so they had a strictly professional relationship. - Legendary actress Meryl Streep unexpectedly found new love after tragedy. Meryl Streep and Don Gummer married in 1978 and haven’t left each other's side ever since!
