We had to circle back to land after departure to resolve an issue. Then we depart initially VFR, climb above a scattered layer and pickup an IFR clearance airborne to complete the trip. We planned just a quick trip down and back but that got extended a bit. This video is for entertainment purposes only and is not intended as instruction in any way. Take Control of Weather Related Flight Delays and Cancellations flight delay announcement, flight delay compensation, flight delay fight, flight delay angry, flight delay song flight delay sing. When an airline delays your vacation before it even starts, use our Air Traveler's Take-Control Cheat Sheet. Nobody wants their vacation delayed before it even starts. But bad weather can sometimes keep planes grounded. Worse, some airlines—and sometimes even hotels and rental-car companies—will invoke bad weather, or "Acts of God" as an excuse for cancellations that may actually be due to mechanical problems or other mishaps. Why would an airline blame the weather for a delay or cancellation? Airlines are not legally obligated to provide travelers with lodging or meals if a delay or cancellation is due to weather. #travelgeek travel geek Please help us to be better Subscribe this channel: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCxBrwgAz_kbXL2b27Q_qs3Q?sub_confirmation=1 Backsound free royalty license by youtube

There are so many apps for every part of life now, and travel apps may be the most saturated market of all. Apps for flight check-in, tracking, lodging, food, drink, meet-ups, and so much more. In this video I show you how I bypass many of those apps (or at least don't rely on them) to get where I need to be. I use two different bullet journal layouts when traveling - one is more category focused, e.g. clothes, flight information, addresses, and work gear. The other is the normal weekly layout for meetings, tasks, and notes. What's important to note is that I'm not getting rid of the apps - I still use Southwest to check in, Airbnb to book lodging, Lyft to get around, and Yelp to find restaurants. But I'm still writing everything down to have a non-app backup and to lock in to my mind what I'm doing and who I'm doing it with. There are studies that back this up too, most notable (pun intended) is "The Pen Is Mightier Than the Keyboard: Advantages of Longhand Over Laptop Note Taking" by Pam Mueller and Daniel Oppenheimer. http://journals.sagepub.com/doi/abs/10.1177/0956797614524581 Basically, using apps impairs processing and memory because there's a level of "off-loading" the information to another source. While this is handy for quick retrieval of information (searching), it doesn't help most people actually learn or retain information like writing does. I am a daily vlogger and together with my girlfriend we travel the whole world always on the go and we have fun upbeat travel vlogs and daily vlogs. Be sure to check them out after this video and stay subscribed to my channel there is a lot of fun content coming your way. When talking about how to fly cheap there are a few factors that you have to consider. One of them is where you are traveling from and where you are traveling to and how flexible are you with your departure airport and destination airport. The second thing is how flexibel are you with your date of travel. The more flexibility the easier it is to find cheap airline tickets. Another key factor to finding cheap flight is actually to find the best booking sites. But really the secret to cheap flights is combining all of those factors into one magic booking strategy. If you want to fly cheap you’ve got to be smart. So as I mentioned flexibility when booking airline tickets is one of the key factors in actually succeeding in finding the cheapest flights. That in term means finding the best booking sites means finding the most flexibel booking sites. There are some good options out there like flights.google.com or kayak.com. They let you enter 3-5 departure airports and 3-5 destination airports and you can be fairly flexible on the travel date. but for what we are looking for that is not good enough. Also many of the booking sites don’t show you all of the airfares because some of the fares are so discounted that the booking site wouldn’t get any commissions anymore. So found another secret to cheap airfare. Finding those fares that not even the booking sites have. Well I stumbled upon a website that combines all those factors into one beautiful beautiful packet . 15 tips & hacks on how to save money on airline tickets. Air travel doesn't have to cost a fortune if you know the tricks of the trade. I'll share some basics tips to save a bit, and some more advanced hacks to book the cheapest flights possible. Tip #1: Be Flexible. Want to fly at Christmas? It’s going to be expensive! Be flexible on your dates, and your destination, and perhaps your oubtound airport. Use the “flexible dates” feature that many search engines have. The difference of one day can be hundreds of dollars. Google Flights has a “Explore Destinations” feature. I often find it can be cheaper to fly to Japan than New York. 2. Use multiple airfare search engines I like Kayak, Google Flights, Momondo, Skyscanner 3. Plan in advance Start at least 12 weeks out… book before 6 weeks out is usually best. Unless it’s an award booking, then when the schedule opens, often a year ahead… or last minute, like the day before. Exception is holiday travel… you might want to book those way way out… but only if you KNOW you are traveling. Change fees will quickly eat up any savings. 4. Know how to spot a good price Airline prices are a little bit like the weather, they fluctuate wildly Search your route over time to see the fare go up, down… Kayak has a price forecast, and a “fare watch” tool 5. Pay attention to the fare rules 7, 14, 21 days before, saturday stay over… travel on a certain day 6. Look out for fare sales Sign up for your favorite airlines e-mail list Theflightdeal.com is a good site Or mistake fares -- be quick -- but these sometimes get cancelled 7. Look for tickets as one person Sometimes buying tickets for “2” or more is more expensive But you can buy “1”... and then another “1” 8. Use one-way fares, multiple airlines for a round trip Yes, you can fly United there, and Jet Blue back But if you book 2 one ways, or multiple carriers your change fees can be higher 9. Fly a budget carrier Southwest Norwegian WOW Air Ryan Air, etc 10. Book from a different city / pay in a foreign currency Japan Airlines might be cheaper if you book the ticket from their Japan website and pay in Yen. 11. Use a travel agent or consolidator Some airlines -- particularly Asian carriers will offer heavily discounted tickets to travel agents 12. Book a connecting flight Airlines know people like non-stops… so connecting flights are often (but not always) cheaper. Just make sure to have plenty of time at your connecting point. 13. Book a hidden city ticket Book a flight with a stop-over, then get off at the stop-over instead of the final destination Don’t check a bag though And airlines really don’t like this Best website for this is skiplagged -- to tell you how much the airlines don’t like this, United sued skiplagged 14. Fuel Dump Book an extra city at the end that will cause the ticket to price without fuel surcharges, or lower fuel surcharges LAX to Narita, Haneda to Burbank, then Burbank to the Caribbean But you don’t take the last leg… airlines don’t like this one either 15. Award tickets But this is a topic for a whole other video Things that don’t matter: Day of the week Time of day After Midnight Incognito Mode Incense Standing on one foot Human Sacrifice CLICK HERE TO SUBSCRIBE: http://bit.ly/yellowwsub Check out this playlist for all of my travel advice videos: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLOVadUHX1B-ISzNV0bH2Ew_kfhOi9K8qc Yellow Productions on Social Media: FACEBOOK: https://facebook.com/YellowProductionsTravel INSTAGRAM: https://instagram.com/yellowwproductions/ TWITTER: https://twitter.com/chrisraney Check out my blog: http://yelloww.net My video gear: Sony FDR-AX53 4K Handycam: http://amzn.to/2hYePVc Sony ECMW1M Wireless Microphone: http://amzn.to/2gQKDGG GoPro Fusion 360 Camera: https://amzn.to/2NINKSz Pacsafe LS250 Anti-theft Shoulder Bag: http://amzn.to/2h0YCNt

Airline: American (Operated by Republic) Aircraft: Embraer E175 Aircraft Reg: N410YX (4 Years old) Seat: 9A Gate: E22 Scheduled Departure: 10:29 AM (east coast) Departure Rwy: 8R Cruising Alt: 18,000 ft (FL180) Flight Time: 20 min Arrival Rwy: 9 Arrival Time: 11:05 am Date: 8/13/17 Thanks for stopping by another Captain Cooper episode! On this extremely short flight, I finally arrive into Key West after spending the night at Miami International due to weather delays from my previous flight from Dallas. So why go to Key West right when school starts? Well I'm actually taking this semester off and will start college next semester. Also my mom now lives in Key West! She works over at Signature Flight so if any of y'all take your planes down to EWY, give a quick hello to her! She works at the front desk. This was a really interesting flight to be on. Not only from how short it was but that the flight itself was like a commute for most passengers on this flight. Most of the passengers on this flight didn't even have any carry-on's at all and not many bags were loaded onto the plane either! Since it was such a short flight, there was no drink service in the main cabin but first class did receive refreshments. You just sat down and then we were off. As soon as we were in the air, it was time to land. Easy money for any pilots out there haha. We were only at 10,000 feet for the majority of the flight at a speed of 370 knots. It was weird being so low in an airliner. What was really great to see was the water! It had the most beautiful shades of blue and green. It really made the flight worth going on. Thanks For Watching! Check out my other videos from this trip! Don't visit out website: http://www.sproductions.in Install Jelly Bean on i9003: http://goo.gl/tLS8e Here's how to check the flight timings of any flight anywhere around the world by using your smartphone. This app is very helpful if you need to pick someone from the airport or need to check if a flight has landed or taken off yet. It is also helpful in ascertaining the block timings or travel timings of a particular flight. Please note, this app depends heavily on the airline providing information on flight timings, therefore always cross-check with the airline concerned if its an extremely important matter. ID: 1557326 A man has been dubbed the ‘world’s funniest’ flight attendant after a viral video shows him leaving 150 passengers in stitches with his snarky safety announcement. Cindy Kuhn, 55, captured the hilarious moment a flight attendant took to the plane's tannoy to read out his hilarious, unique take on a safety announcement. Rows of passengers are heard in the video laughing hysterically as the flight attendant put his witty spin on what are normally passenger safety instructions before take-off. Frontier Airlines flight attendant, Daniel Sandberg, started his announcement by introducing the flight attendant at the front of the plane as his wife and the one in the back as his mistress – before taking off on his three-minute comedy routine. **Please contact [email protected] for media / licensing / broadcast usage** SUBMIT A VIDEO: https://bit.ly/2HWQ0mD Connect with Caters: Twitter: https://twitter.com/Caters_News Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/CatersTV Website: https://www.catersnews.com Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/caters_news/ Company Information: Caters Clips is owned and operated by Caters News Agency Ltd, an international multimedia content provider. Airport Information: Watch all our AIRPORT VIDEOS here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hCDYceM-oX0&list=PLFZOg4H3C0gH0HWWm8WfOmnnldFB-s6Op Arriving at London Heathrow Airport (LHR). If this is your first visit to London Heathrow Terminal 5 you should find this video helpful for getting an idea of the airport procedures when you arrive at London Heathrow Airport in the United Kingdom. This London Heathrow Airport footage is filmed from the disembarkation of our flight (a British Airways flight from Copenhagen), through the walk to arrivals area where we eventually purchase our London Underground rail tickets to London. Our walk begins where we have just disembarked our plane and are walking through Heathrow Airport´s Terminal 5 towards Immigration / Passport Control. To get to the Heathrow Immigration / Passport Control area we take an Airport Train Shuttle. The Passport Control process at Heathrow Airport was very quick as we used the automated Passport scanner (we are EU citizens). After clearing Immigration we start to make our way to the Heathrow Airport Terminal 5 Baggage Claim area. We quickly claim our luggage and then make our way through the airport Customs area where you choose the red entrance if you have something to declare or the green entrance if you have nothing to declare. Once we have passed Heathrow Airports Customs we find our selves in the Heathrow Airport arrivals. The arrivals area is full of people / chauffeurs waiting to pick up passengers. We have decided that we will make our way into London City with the London Underground (The Tube) and therefore the process of where to buy tickets for the train from Heathrow Airport to London is covered too. In our case we were advised to buy the London Oyster Travel Card, and we give viewers a brief explanation of what that is. All in all we found that Arriving at London Heathrow Airport Terminal 5 was easy and the airport signs were very good in pointing us in the right direction. The only issue / confusing part was whether or not we were supposed to use the Airport Shuttle transfer to get to the Immigration area or whether the Heathrow Airport Shuttle Train was only for passengers who had a transfer flight from Heathrow Airport (the train was for both arriving and transferring passengers). Heathrow Terminal 5, "Heathrow Terminal 5 is an airport terminal at Heathrow Airport, the main airport serving London. Opened in 2008, the main building in the complex is the largest free-standing structure in the United Kingdom. Terminal 5 is currently used exclusively as one of the three global hubs of International Airlines Group, served by British Airways and Iberia... Prior to 2012, the terminal was used solely by British Airways... The terminal was designed to handle 35 million passengers a year. In 2015, Terminal 5 handled 33.1 million passengers on 215,716 flights; 44.6% of the airport's passengers on 46.6% of its flights with an average of 153 passengers per flight. It was the busiest terminal at the airport, measured both by passenger numbers and flight movements..." #airport #travel #travelvlogs #HeathrowAirport #HeathrowInternationalAirport #London #LondonHeathrowAirport Watch all our Travel Vlogs here: https://www.youtube.com/user/TravellerYT/playlists?flow=grid&view=1 We are also on Facebook and Instagram. https://www.facebook.com/TravellerYT https://instagram.com/travelleryt1/ Music Title "Blank" provided by NCS https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p7ZsBPK656s Artist: Disfigure Facebook: http://www.facebook.com/DisfigureOfficial Soundcloud: http://www.soundcloud.com/disfigureofficial YouTube: http://www.youtube.com/user/DisfigureMusic Music Title "Kaibu" provided by NCS https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OBwl2glmqC0 Artist: Killercats Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/kcatsofficial/ Soundcloud: https://soundcloud.com/kcatsofficial YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/c/killercatsofficial Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/killercatsofficial/

It was one of two rovers of NASA's ongoing Mars Exploration Rover Mission. It landed successfully on Mars at 04:35 Ground UTC on January 4, 2004, three weeks before its twin, Opportunity (MER-B), landed on the other side of the planet. Its name was chosen through a NASA-sponsored student essay competition. The rover became stuck in late 2009, and its last communication with Earth was sent on March 22, 2010. The rover completed its planned 90-sol mission. Aided by cleaning events that resulted in higher power from its solar panels, Spirit went on to function effectively over twenty times longer than NASA planners expected following mission completion. Spirit also logged 7.73 km (4.8 mi) of driving instead of the planned 600 m (0.4 mi), allowing more extensive geological analysis of Martian rocks and planetary surface features. Initial scientific results from the first phase of the mission (the 90-sol prime mission) were published in a special issue of the journal Science. On May 1, 2009 (5 years, 3 months, 27 Earth days after landing; 21.6 times the planned mission duration), Spirit became stuck in soft soil. This was not the first of the mission's "embedding events" and for the following eight months NASA carefully analyzed the situation, running Earth-based theoretical and practical simulations, and finally programming the rover to make extrication drives in an attempt to free itself. These efforts continued until January 26, 2010 when NASA officials announced that the rover was likely irrecoverably obstructed by its location in soft soil, though it continued to perform scientific research from its current location. The rover continued in a stationary science platform role until communication with Spirit stopped on sol 2210 (March 22, 2010). JPL continued to attempt to regain contact until May 24, 2011, when NASA announced that efforts to communicate with the unresponsive rover had ended. A formal farewell was planned at NASA headquarters after the Memorial Day holiday and was televised on NASA TV. Hope you enjoyed it!

The fate of the last two Boeing 767s in British Airways' fleet was decided today as both G-BZHA and G-BZHB arrived at MOD St Athan (EGDX) from London Heathrow (LHR/EGLL) for scrapping. Today (26th November 2018) marks the end of an era for the workhorse of the British Airways fleet - the Boeing 767-300, as the last two bid farewell to their commercial flying days and arrived at the scrapyard. Not only was it the very last flight for both these aircraft, but too the captain of the first 767 to land - best wishes in your retirement. Congratulations to BA and Boeing on the success of the wonderful aircraft, and good luck to the crews on their next adventures. The first aircraft to land, G-BZHA as BAW767A (Speedbird 767A) was at around 11:30am, followed by G-BZHB as BAW767B (Speedbird 767B) later in the afternoon at around 2:45pm. Both made their last landing a graceful one, coming to a quick stop on runway 25 after using up very little runway. Soon after they vacated the runway, taxying past other BA 767's already at the scrapyard. Moments later they were all parked up, shutting down those Rolls Royce RB211's for the last time. 🙁 I've included a few still shots of other aircraft on the ground as well as a video of Qatar Airways Boeing 787 on approach to Cardiff Airport (CWL/EGFF). I felt this was quite a thought-provoking shot with the latest model in Boeing's fleet flying over the 20 year old 767's as they entered their retirement. From Captain Chris Letchford... "G-BZHA was the penultimate flight and was operated by Captain Chris Letchford and Senior First Officer Ed Stone. Chris retired with the aeroplane while Ed is currently undergoing a conversion on to the 747. The final flight flown on G-BZHB was operated by Captain Jonny Lutton and Senior First Officer Adam Aston. Jonny very graciously and selflessly gave away the final landing to Adam. Adam is undergoing his conversion on to the Airbus fleet and Jonny will be re-joining the 747 fleet and taking up his new role as Flight Training Manager. Adam and Jonny both have twitter accounts which are well worth following ..."
