Which cards do you think will be reprinted in Ultimate Masters? Also I was focused on non-foil cards in this video but to be clear Vesuva did get reprinted in FTV: Realms and it also does not fit in the number crunch:(
I don’t think bloom tender will get reprinted but I hope it will. Collected company would be a nice hit. I had no idea prismatic omen was that expensive I think I paid less than ten dollars for it like 5 years ago
I really want to see Quirion Ranger with the Allen Williams Art. Would also love a Gemstone Caverns with the new Legendary Border.
I hope we see Goblin Lore left at Uncommon.
I can see Eldrazi Temple at Uncommon again due to the Mythic Eldrazi.
I think Fyndhorn Elves has a good chance of making it in as a common. It's only had three printings, two of which were just from the supplemental products Deckmasters and From the Vault: 20. It has a decent value of $1.99 for the original Ice Age printing, sees lots of play in Pauper, and the FTV art has never got a non-foil printing in anything.
Oh ya I sold my bloom tenders when they were high, too much to hold them. I would very much welcome collected company and leyline of the void. Mostly because I need foils and a price drop would be preferable lol.
Mirrodin Besieged Fastlands, Tronlands, Lorwyn bloc cards, Timeshift bloc cards like Tolaria West, Oubliette.
Many people believe Mox Opal is destined to be banned in months, that's why it isn't getting a reprint.
setting yourself up for disappointment, we're getting a slew of cycle cards I bet. The set is "Draftable". we're going to get cards like "One with Nothing" at rare. We're getting safe cards that've been reprinted to crud like elvish aberration, colossal greatmaw, arcane denial no- faith in much of these cards since the horrible words draftable were spoken.
I’m irritated one of my favorite cards has never been reprinted. Grim Tutor. I have a 9.5 graded copy, but I want one with a modern border and foil. On that same subject, Goblin Settler is way overdue as well.
Mhh, I love your content but I really don’t see the point of this video.
Then again in general I’m not a fan of random predictions because it’s just a waste of time.
We’ll get to know everything eventually anyway.
Who cares. WOTC has taken advantage of most of it's players. The prices of the cards go down for only a very limited amount of time and if you don't happen to have the money at that time to purchase them, you are going to be paying the same amount as before they were reprinted. And on top of that, every time that WOTC does one of these reprint sets, it makes the prices of all the cards that weren't reprinted to become even more expensive than what they were before they released the reprint set. I couldn't think of a worse way that a company can treat its customers.
SJ Barnette I think wizards should make products with exact card lists to increase the supply of things like fetches. Literally have a product that includes all the expensive stuff and put the msrp at 20$, then have a very large print run. A product like the challenger decks would help, A lot of those standard cards fell by a large margin..
I do think wizards should consider the price of their "game". What should they do? Print cards into oblivion and the people who already bought in will complain. Try to increase supply and no one thinks its good enough.
Personally i think wizards should make alt art cards "master pieces" of all cards in every set at foil rarity. But not foil. Can you imagine the packs they would sell as collectors struggle to collect all 254 alt arts. That would help lower prices i think.
... i don’t understand how magic finance works... LGS are dying all around because no one wants to play a card game as expensive but the prices keeps getting up? Boxes gets worst and worst year by year ( except for khans of tarkir) and people stop opening them but they tank the prices to the top!
+Philip Cardillo yes, but vengevine has always been played to some degree and seen as a card that is playable. Goblin lore was one of those cards that was simply not playable, due to the randomness, which is something wizards does not tend to like to add to their card design
Is it though? I agree that as of right now it really urgently needs one. But it all depends on when Wizards finished planning this set, since Goblin Lore only became relevant around march. If they happened to have created and finished this set 1 year ago, having Goblin Lore in there would sadly be VERY strange, since outside of the Hollow One era, it has not been a desireable card and regarded more as a random uncommon. Anyway I am also waiting and hoping that Goblin Lore gets reprinted since its the only card I am missing.
Btw if we dont get it now, we might (still unlikely) get it in the next Ravnica set, since Rakdos likes to play with self-discard.
I was thinking about those when I was working on the video. It looks like some of them have been number crunched out already. I have seen at least one from the allied colors and one from the enemy colors eliminated so I don't think any will be in there.
I would hope they would add the blue leyline as well or maybe just reprint the whole series. Otherwise Sensei's Divining Top or maybe Teferi's protection? It would make sense if they purposefully didn't print Top and scroll rack in the Aminatou deck because they were going to include it in masters. Granted, I don't expect them to reprint that many commander cards.
Mox Opal and Aether Vial would have been nice. It looks like limited might be focusing on Jund and Eldrazi so I can see them putting in Thought-Knot Seer, All is Dust, Eldrazi Temple. For Jund maybe Bloodbraid and Inquisition. Steel Overseer would be a nice inclusion too.
Didn't know Inquisition of kozilek went down in price. It was like $10 2 years ago. https://www.mtggoldfish.com/price/Rise+of+the+Eldrazi/Inquisition+of+Kozilek#paper
For a reprint, I do hope your favorite collective brutality card makes it. I doubt any planeswalkers would be in the set.
For towns, each building is described, along with what and who can you can talk to, who to buy skills from, and what quests are available. For the outlying areas, the dungeons are listed.
Dungeon maps are not given -- they would be too extensive to fit easily into a web page and the automapping in the game is excellent. Also, every dungeon should be explored completely to get all of the loot, but only puzzles and hidden locations are described. I also skip most of the fighting because it isnt something that you can easily describe, nor does it matter in most places, except that you have to survive it. I do list the creatures that you will encounter in a dungeon or grid location to give you an idea of how difficult the location is.
Stores are listed with a "buy" and "sell". The "buy" value is multiplied by the items value to determine the price you have to pay for it. The "sell" value is divided by the items value to determine the price you can sell it to the store for. Higher is always worse, and a "buy" or "sell" of 1 means that you are buying/selling an item at cost.
Every location has a "reset" timer. This starts when you first enter the area, and after it "goes off", the entire grid square resets: monsters reappear and random treasure is replaced. Nonrandom treasure (including most stat-gaining liquids) is not replaced. All dungeons have a reset of 2 years (24 months), unless otherwise noted. Overland areas have reset times listed with their descriptions.
Artifacts are unique items that can be found. They come in two flavors: Minor artifacts are always benificial and have a value of 20000gp. Major artifacts always have a drawback, but their benificial powers are much stronger. They have a value of 30000gp. There are 15 minor and 15 major artifacts -- some of these artifacts are placed at specific locations; others are randomly generated.
