To the couple who served in the military. DO U EVEN KNOW WHY U SERVED? DO U KNOW WHY U R CALLED FOR DUTIES??? ... HELL NO .. YALL GO TO OTHER COUNTRIES TAKING SHIT AND HARRASSING FOLKS !!! FUCK THE FLAG
You say your losing respect? Honey, we Canadians have never respected you (which is not much) more for kneeling to your anthem. No country is perfect, especially not yours. If I wanted to kneel to my anthem, my school would encourage it, as long as the understood why.
I'm German and just trying to imagine this happening in Germany is so weird. Nobody would question their decision. Actually, no flag or national anthem would even be at a high school sporting match in the first place and even if there was, people wouldn't stand up or anything
For her to say they dont know what their kneeling for is disgusting. People are kneeling against unjust killings against minorities & in order to protest its done in places to spark attention. Would you rather people protest some where it doesn't make you uncomfortable TOO BAD THATS THE POINT. Also killing minorites is worse than a spit in our face so FUCK YOU & FAKE OUTRAGE!
“We fought for your freedom and sacrificed our lives so you can do what you want to do BUT DONT DO IT... even though I risked my life for you to be able to do it, don’t do it” basically what he said lmao FUCKEN DUMBASS
Because black people experience institutional racism that manifests itself in ways such a police brutality towards blacks. This causes a disproportionately high amount of fatalities and other unwarranted injustices towards a historically marginalized demographic. Hence black live matters movement and other social movements. The kneeling is to raise awareness and protest these issues as it is not worth standing for a flag/country that treats it's own people in such a manner.
If you say kneeling isn’t disrespectful then you can’t say the confederate flag represents racism. Because to vets kneeling is a sign of disrespect. And to many Americans the confederate flags means southern pride not racism. Can’t have it both ways
I find it odd that people who disrespected the american flag for years by raising the confedereate flag..are worried about it. Suddenly i see fewer confederate flags now..so the players actually raised the respect for the american flag.
So say if i came to america and something like that happens, do i have to take a stand or what because im not american, im british who happens to be visiting. Do i just stay down or is that too offensive even though people are getting annoyed from a stupid thing like standing or kneeling.
materialism rules this country.. it's material - patriotism is not about some flag.. it's about the men and women who fight abroad for our freedoms... soldiers kneel in prayer, we all kneel to pray... our country has lost respect for those in uniform but when it suits them they praise our veterans... we should be respecting those who are living, who are in need of help, supporting those who want justice - not just for those with money and power but those who pay their taxes each day and year, for those people who have struggled throughout their lives to be slapped in the face - when politicians label and stereotype.. the hilarious part is the Kaepernick was given advice by a veteran to kneel a white veteran.. and for someone to say anything is disrespect - doesn't know what freedom of speech is.. if you're a military soldier and come back to a country that says you can't do this... even tho some have gone and not come back because they fight for everything for us to do.. and yet some cannot.. what contradiction is that.. especially like those who served but came back to a segregated country.. what loyalty is that for us americans?
Respect those who serve, but also stand/kneel/pray/hands up to make right for this country... do all you can to make things right and if they aren't getting better - the fight continues for all of us who are without justice, we fight day in and day out for those who are without - for those who are pushed aside, for those who are given no justice for a crime that has been committed many years, we demand justice and if you cannot see that we need it.. you too are part of the problem... remember that flag is material... our brothers and sisters are not!
So many people in the military are brainwashed. Oh so you fought for the freedom for him to do that buddy? then why can’t he? hm?It has absolutely nothing to do with him, the military, or the flag. Which, i really don’t see why people give so much of a shit about those things anyway. When i was in highschool no one gave a shit about standing up for the national anthem
I consider myself pretty conservative, but i find it just as a pathetic when conservatives whine about how people on the left express themselves. It makes you just as much of a snowflake. I believe this country is great, but you simply shouldn't get pissy when another person thinks differently.
Those marine soldiers were extremely ignorant and aggressive. The guy must have killed so many innocent people. America is one joke. Lol. Are u guys actually for real?! Treating people bad for decades and decades because of their skin colour is not disrespectful but kneeling against a piece a fabric is?! You guys lost the plot. And don't act like you're fighting for freedom. We all know You're fighting for supremacy and oil. And because of it America is tearing itself apart. But then again why would God bless a country that was built by injustice and inhumane actions.
As a British person, to me I can understand why the USA cares so much about their flag and patriotism but I don't get why they obsess so much about their anthem, I only know about 60% of our anthem so i dont really get why it's so necassarry, some countires don't even have national anthems. But anyway, I really agree with the military guy that it can be disrespectful due to the way they've been brought up to do that. I thank the Americans for their service in keeping the UK a safe place too during the World Wars and every other time. America is our greatest ally <3
Me personally which is my opinion for people to kneel during the anthem and the flag that is disrespectful to the people who serve in the military not saying all think it's disrespectful but to some it is. I'm all for supporting BLM but I just believe there is a better way to protest and show support other than kneeling during anthem... If BLM want cops and other ppl to stop with shooting black ppl and being racist towards black Americans and want respect but your not willing to show respect back by realizing that kneeling disrespects some americans , military, & veterans... There's a million different ways to take a stand kneeling shouldn't be the way & it isn't the only way or solution....
I as a black AMERICAN male agree with the military guy. I dont believe in the taking a knee thing I think its disrespectful and it doesnt prove the point that they say their trying to get across. I do believe in why they are doing it whole heartedly I just dont think "taking a knee" was the right way to do it especially during the national anthem what does that have to do with black rights but that's just my 2 cents
+Ninten Earthbound wow lol okay sure though it doesnt work like that, I'm just expressing my opinion on the fact that kneeling during the national anthem is getting the point across that it needs to get across
"I dont think they know why they are doing it" yes, yes they know why they are kneeling. Also for every soldier that may hate it there is one that says thats exactly what they fight for your right to kneel
I completely disagree with people kneeling during the national anthem, I find it disrespectful and divisive. However, I think people have the right to do it under our first amendment. I would not find it as disrespectful if football players took a knee in protest but not during the national anthem. They are sending a bad message to the youth of the country in my opinion. I stopped watching the NFL because of this, another thing the left has ruined, sports are suppose to be about fun and unity, not division and politics.
I`ll never understand the "we fight for freedom speach" but you can´t do this or that shit. All the military fight beliving that what they`re doing is the right thing for the people in their country.
In my country is no different you fight for your beliefs cause we have the same right to fight for what we belive in.
A country is not a flag it´s a culture it´s the people. That`s why the constitution of your country starts with WE THE PEOPLE and those peoples rights to do whatever they choose to.
why do some people just not get that it has NOTHING to do with the flag? additionally, why don’t those same people not understand that the flag is a symbol of your freedom to protest (anything, including the flag)?
What is so great about America, is that I can go up to them and say "Fuck you, you disrespectful asshole" and I have the right to do so, just like they have the right to kneel.
It's what we fought for.....
And now, I'm just waiting for some afgany fuck-face to complain about how "we killed his brothers and sisters."
When the lady said America has got lots of disrespect for that had me puzzled cause I’m from Australia and we praise those that understand their history and safely protest but don’t like all the pain, disrespect and foolishness by Americans e.g medical clinics harm people and water poisoning plus Donald Trump
This really is a sad issue. It certainly is true that players have the right to kneel during the anthem, no matter how much disrespect is implied. However, it is necessary for players to think of the effects that they may feel. NFL views dropped dramatically from patriotic fans after many players took a kneel, and that may lower player's salaries. It can be acknowledged that there is legitimate racism in the US, as there is everywhere, but kneeling during the anthem and in front of the United States flag is disrespectful for the veterans that fight to keep you free and living, no matter what color your skin is. America is one of the most democratic and anti-racist countries in the world. If you disagree, I challenge you to find a country that is more democratic than we are. The flag doesn't symbolize the president of the nation or the acts of a few racist people in a nation, it represents its values and its veterans who died protecting those values. Spitting on the flag is certainly an inefficient and frankly, stupid way to protest the acts of a few deranged people. If you think that the US is an inherently racist country, I beg you to leave our country and allow space for those who are escaping real racism from government tyrannies elsewhere.
Also, please stop associating anyone who is old and white with being racist. Many, or most, in some cases, of the people that liberated blacks from slavery, Jews from the Holocaust, Asians and Hispanics from prejudice, were old and white in our perspective. That is truly racist - generalizing people simply based on the race of their skin. Just because you're not white doesn't mean that you can't be racist.
To tell the truth I can't stand any vet that opposes kneeling down, cuz the flag don't mean America, cuz America don't care if a marine dies or not, they'll just send another one, but ya'll fought so hard and lost all of this so that the citizens are safe for a police officer to kill a citizen in seconds without anybody being able to do anything to them, if anything they should feel disrespected that America allows this not for a football player to simply kneel down, which kneeling down doesn't do shit the police don't give a shit if a nigga on a football team does that, that doesn't affect them in any way but it says that we see what happens and we don't like it, so ya'll fr fighting ya'll selves bruh
For towns, each building is described, along with what and who can you can talk to, who to buy skills from, and what quests are available. For the outlying areas, the dungeons are listed.
Dungeon maps are not given -- they would be too extensive to fit easily into a web page and the automapping in the game is excellent. Also, every dungeon should be explored completely to get all of the loot, but only puzzles and hidden locations are described. I also skip most of the fighting because it isnt something that you can easily describe, nor does it matter in most places, except that you have to survive it. I do list the creatures that you will encounter in a dungeon or grid location to give you an idea of how difficult the location is.
Stores are listed with a "buy" and "sell". The "buy" value is multiplied by the items value to determine the price you have to pay for it. The "sell" value is divided by the items value to determine the price you can sell it to the store for. Higher is always worse, and a "buy" or "sell" of 1 means that you are buying/selling an item at cost.
Every location has a "reset" timer. This starts when you first enter the area, and after it "goes off", the entire grid square resets: monsters reappear and random treasure is replaced. Nonrandom treasure (including most stat-gaining liquids) is not replaced. All dungeons have a reset of 2 years (24 months), unless otherwise noted. Overland areas have reset times listed with their descriptions.
Artifacts are unique items that can be found. They come in two flavors: Minor artifacts are always benificial and have a value of 20000gp. Major artifacts always have a drawback, but their benificial powers are much stronger. They have a value of 30000gp. There are 15 minor and 15 major artifacts -- some of these artifacts are placed at specific locations; others are randomly generated.
