humans are a funny bunch. there's a group trying to save them while another only cares for poking holes in the Earth not giving a dam what the consequences are if there's a screw up lol. We go from north to south when it comes to mentality.
I would have been 6 ten years ago so I would have been at my grandparents. Because it’s late in the day currently I know 10 years ago it was a Saturday and I was fast asleep in my grandparents old house that I could walk to without a map. I live on an island so that makes things easy. No matter where I was on the island I could find my way home or to my grandparents. I remember what my baby food tasted like from when I was a baby... I have really good memory but also a really good sense of direction.
Hey, I live an hour away from South Padre Island! The nesting is still continuing, and everytime the turtles lay eggs, they block off that part of the beach. When it's time for the baby turtles to go into the sea, everyone gathers around and cheers for them.
Ten years ago, exactly ten years ago. Even the same time of the day.
I was in my bedroom, after a "long" day of kindergarten, in my bed probably. I even remember where my bed was back then. 40 sentimeters away from my current bed position. Tho bed was differend. Probably "reading" something or drawing. Or playing. Or praying night prays with my mom.

It’s heartbreakingly lovely how humans can destroy and protect the environment.
“...but they’re pretty good at finding their way. Especially if they got a little help” this line made me love humans, but then remembered we were the reason of their decline ourselves.
Let’s educate each other to protect God’s creations.
Mexicans are really desperate people. Imagine they will get all turtles eggs to the brink of extinction. Scientist have to bring all eggs to the USA to hatch. Shout out to all mexicans, how could you. Mexico could be a sanctuary of turtles but you destroyed it. What a shame.
Jairo Mora Sandoval (March 22, 1987 – May 31, 2013) was a Costa Rican environmentalist who was murdered while attempting to protect sea turtle nests and eggs from poaching activity. Just before midnight on May 30, 2013, Mora and four female volunteers were abducted by a group of masked men. The women eventually escaped and informed the police. Mora's bound and beaten body was found on the beach the next morning. An autopsy determined he died by asphyxiation after suffering a blow to the head. No arrests were made by the Costa Rican authorities.
The Costa Rican "authorities" were probably in on the poaching and making money to turn a blind eye. Five police officers were on beach duty the night of Mora's murder, and they had been in radio contact with him about an hour before his death. The police were present to increase "the number of eyes and ears on the beach". The Judicial Investigation Police later stated they are "unable to determine a motive for Mora's death."
For towns, each building is described, along with what and who can you can talk to, who to buy skills from, and what quests are available. For the outlying areas, the dungeons are listed.
Dungeon maps are not given -- they would be too extensive to fit easily into a web page and the automapping in the game is excellent. Also, every dungeon should be explored completely to get all of the loot, but only puzzles and hidden locations are described. I also skip most of the fighting because it isnt something that you can easily describe, nor does it matter in most places, except that you have to survive it. I do list the creatures that you will encounter in a dungeon or grid location to give you an idea of how difficult the location is.
Stores are listed with a "buy" and "sell". The "buy" value is multiplied by the items value to determine the price you have to pay for it. The "sell" value is divided by the items value to determine the price you can sell it to the store for. Higher is always worse, and a "buy" or "sell" of 1 means that you are buying/selling an item at cost.
Every location has a "reset" timer. This starts when you first enter the area, and after it "goes off", the entire grid square resets: monsters reappear and random treasure is replaced. Nonrandom treasure (including most stat-gaining liquids) is not replaced. All dungeons have a reset of 2 years (24 months), unless otherwise noted. Overland areas have reset times listed with their descriptions.
Artifacts are unique items that can be found. They come in two flavors: Minor artifacts are always benificial and have a value of 20000gp. Major artifacts always have a drawback, but their benificial powers are much stronger. They have a value of 30000gp. There are 15 minor and 15 major artifacts -- some of these artifacts are placed at specific locations; others are randomly generated.
